i need a good (free) online multiplayer game

i used to play runescape but im getting bored of that.i need somthing new (free unless low retial price 30.00$ and less)

im also bored of the all the "your on your own crap" i like to work as a team and be part of something bigger.while alot of games out there have that sort of thing its not often up to standards.

thats all for the moment

p.s.  games that have deep storylines (but not too deep) are awsome arent they...glad you agree...lol

hmm well Maplestory aint bad.  unless ur looking for PvP,  which it has none of

Silkroad Online might be a good choice for you

servers can be all full at times tho, and there is a huge botting issue, but its clearing up.

id say if ur paying for MEMBERS on runescape then stick with that

as crappy as the graphics are its quite better than nothing

Anarchy Online (free?), ArchLord (price drop?) and Guild Wars: Prophecies (approx. $20). NO monthly fees.

'Free' MMOs(some have item shops in)

Rappelz-best of the free MMOs ive played to date.Grind isnt too bad as its mainly quest based until later levels.Has grouping in it,and dungeons that require teamwork, but lots of it is soloable/

darkness and light (multiplayer strategy)-having good team work can make the difference between winning and losing.

Shadowbane-MMO with a very pvp orienated style, lots of character and build depth.

    Flyff

9 dragons-great graphics, loved the way this one looked.

    Non RPG  Free multiplayer games

Soldat-awful graphics, but great gameplay.lots of players per match.

    Bloodmasters-multiplayer overhead perspective shooter.

    war rock-multiplayer 3D shooter

    Good free RPG

The battle of wesnoth-has an online multiplayer mode.Plays like a giant GBA roleplayer ,one of my favourite games in ages.

    Retail

Guild wars prophecies is very cheap now.Great game with very good visuals.

Warcraft 3 and the expansion pack-good online multiplayer mode, can also download the DOTA all stars stuff. the single player is very good too,ive played through it multiple times.

IMO - MMORPG free and good dont combine very well.    I would say play guild wars, one time fee, unless you buy expansions.

if you jsut need somthing to do and dotn care about community or anything id look into playing World of Warcraft on a private serveri did for about a month. I jsut started playing voyage centery its liek a pirate game not bad actually u dotn have to grind all the time... dotn even have to kill creatures and stuff to have fun really.

Currently, there are only two free games that I'm playing and having fun with.

Rumble Fighter - Fighting games just don't come out on the PC, so when I saw this I had to try it. It's not the greatest fighting game, but it'll give you something to do until Kwon Ho comes out. Did I mention you can play this with a Logitech Pro gamepad?

Darkness and Light - The only reason I've been playing this is because I no longer own a copy of Warcraft 3. If you do own WC3, don't bother with this game, just go download the DoTA Allstars mod and enjoy.

Can't say that there are any traditional F2P MMORPGs that are really worth the time to be honest. Space Cowboy maybe?

Ditto on the Guild Wars suggestion. No monthly fee, great storyline (IMHO), will almost always require you to party up on missions. I recently got back to playing it mainly because so many changes have been made since I last played, and I still enjoy it.

    Guild Wars FTW! :)
