D2 the only MMORPG i ever enjoyed

ive tried



WoW

Maplestory

FFXI

Silkroad

Knight Online

SWG

and sadly even runescape



and i have to say D2 was the only game i truely loved



i wish it was still popular...



are ther any games theese days that can live up to it?



im so thirsty for a good MMORPG

    I haven't played it myself, but people say that 2Moons is very similar to D2.  It's suppose to enter OB with in the next few weeks.

    OP, wait for Hellgate:London and check it out if u havnt heard of it. It's straight from most of the developers of DII who left blizzard and formed flagship studios. Hellgate:London is very similar and im sure ull love it when it comes out later this year.

    im trying to get my xbox live up for halo 2 but i mean im an MMORPG type of guy



    im so bored i almost considered runescape man!



    but i stilll do wish ther was a D2 community still

    Funny to see this topic, I returned to Diablo 2 a couple of weeks ago, and loving it. My WoW subscription is back to cancelled, along with any other games I've been beta'ing and trialing of late, and just enjoying some good old fashioned hack 'n slash with some old friends. Still prefer the way it was, pre-1.10, but c'est la vie.

    What server do you play on? It doesn't seem -that- dead to me, but I'm lucky to have people on when I am that I already know, I suppose.

    i was on Western i think



    and i was ladder



    i could consider coming back if i can find people like you still around



    i recently quit WoW at level 68



    and i miss D2

An MMO, has a large world usually, a large community playing in the same game world in real time. Diablo II and Guild Wars, the 2 games that people confuse for MMO's are just online RPGs.....     oh well im sorry i wasnt completly strict about the difference between MMO and such. but i think we all got the point

    Try Guild Wars. Some of the people who made it also was the designer of Diablo but they made their own company and made Guild wars. Some people that play guild wars are from D2 and they enjoy the game

    I too miss the old days of Diablo II dominance. I really loved that game and played a lot on hardcore ladder. I found that hardcore was the only real thrill for me. I loved the adrenaline rush from surviving many close calls. I miss Diablo II a lot and have not found a game that is as good as it was back in the day.

    Its strange, but while I loved Diablo 1, D2 did nothing for me.... couldn't stand to play it......



    But Huxley is probably going to be the game for you, not sure what would be a good substitute in the meantime....
