    and one more question do i need a credit card to make an account or just the key and then use monthly passes to pay?

    You can buy time cards for $30 and that gives you 2 months

    but if i remember right, if you want to register without a CC, you NEED to have a game card when you register. you still get the month free AND the gamecard time is added to that. A minor inconvenience maybe, but due to note.

    Also note the BC trial is out.

    OK MAN THE op just made me lol , yes you need the first wow to play tbc, its an expansion, not like a wow2, expansions are always played in conjunction with the origonal release, and i am so surprised no one has said anything dumb like if you need to ask that then wow is the perfect game for you.
