Snake has a weakness, when you're fighting him just yell 'Hey, there goes Raiden!' Just watch as he blushes and gets really embarrassed, then tries to convince anyone watching that the whole episode never took place and we should just forget it. Use that time to sneak away.

No, I was implying that the second game was so embarrasing it would actually make Solid Snake blush, and that every effort would be spent to retcon it out of existance.
Kind of like Highlander 2...which coincidently enough starred Michael Ironsides as the villain.
The only thing embarassing about MGS 2 was the plot...the gameplay was spot on.
But what a plot! I actually laughed out loud towards the end there. Also I hate Raiden with a blinding passion (how can you ruin a perfectly good name with that character). I believe he had no place whatsoever in the series and was just an attempt to put a stereotypical Japanese anime hero into Solid Snake's place.
I've never thought of him as an attempt to put an anime character into it, but I suppose you're right. I didn't enjoy playing as Raiden very much, the only redeeming value that he had was his flip that he did. I think that the concept of taking you away from Snake and using Snake as more of a side character was a good idea for that particular game, but they should have made the new guy more of a bad ass, not some little sissy with long flowing blonde hair. I think that the plot was just one of those things where they tried to do too much, and they tried to make it too convoluted. The overall story of "the patriots" is a good idea, the execution just wasn't there.

To all the Link haters... its not a skirt, its a tunic. And even if it was a skirt, whats so wrong with wearing a skirt? Its appropriate given the world he lives in. He also has the Master Sword, which offsets any gay vibes he might emanate from a psuedo-skirt.

Samus is definitely a huge player here. She kicks ass in and out of the suit, and she has faced monsters no one else has ever seen the like of (And no one ever will, now). I'd also like to give out a few runners up here: Revan (If that counts) Cole Train, Baby! Link (Who isn't a shemale, he just shows off the fact that he can kick ass in a skirt) Snake (Gotta give him props) Vader (He's gotta be in a Video game, right?)

I vote Dante, from Devil May Cry...no contest. He defines the word "badass" In fact, I think the inventor of the word badass actually was a scientific genious and he (though little is this known) invented the time machine. He travelled into the future to see what it was like, and he stumbled upon the game devil may cry. He saw the main character and said spontaneously said to himself "omg hes a badass"...,thus inventine the word "badass" He went back in time to spread the concept of being a "badass", but the time period in which he was living in couldn't except the word "badass" as they flagged it as inappropriate.....so he was shot, no one ever to find out of his other invention "the time machine"

3) Samus (as stated before, can't go wrong with a good-lookin' chick in a power suit)
