EQ2 beta testers...

in Everquest II

I'm signed up for the beta... And the beta is beginning in early June... right? Well... That's like in a couple of days from now! Shoudn't they have announced who was in and who was out by now?

Just wondering...

    I know, im waiting for it too image but it sould be out either June 1st, or Junbe 15th, or somewhere in between ^^

    Most likly people who applied wont be getting there notices till after the Legends and LoE people get to play abit. They have priority over normal apps and Long Term Active Players are before just plain applicants.

    If your not a winner of pc gamer, not a LOE person, legends subscriber, long EQlive subscriber, then you might not want you hopes up on the first phase...

    They are looking for specific machine configurations,dial-up,DSL,Cable etc., in order for the test to be all encompassing,as far as users. If you signed up at any website including here,they will be looking for different combos of each,so that the Beta will be tested on all sorts of machines with all sorts of connections. It's not really random.If you signed up at EQ2 website ,they ask for a DX Diagnostic to be sent ans held to in order to test.If you change your configuration,your required to re-test the DX at the website,in order to stay in the running.Good luck to all,I hope you get a position.!image

    Beta is set to begin sometime in June, and it has been stated by Moorgard that Legends and LOE people only make up a small portion of beta testers, there will be many that signed up via regular method that will be in the 1st wave as well.

    Yep yep thats what he said. Btw it wasnt "acually said" what phase(LOE) they would be in other that "a special phase".Only Legends was stated to be considered "first phase" I think the order will be more like Legends ,Longtime,LOE,Contest/Magazines,then probably Open Beta/Demo if there is even a need. People that simply "buy" ther way into beta should be the last to get in IMO.But $$$$$ talks to SOE. Proven time and again.
