are there any mmorpg that arent turn based, i mean not like planetside where its a war game just an rpg where u can use skill to fight and use experience to gain new skills

i mean like lord of the rings or world of warcraft, they both look good especially WoW

    I never heard of "turn based" mmorpg's, until now, so my answer would be. All but planetside has what you are looking for. :)

    what im trying to say is that when u hit a button ur character swings the sword and u can do combos like an action game, in most mmorpgs u attck and ur charcter keeps hitting the target until it dies or u do a special attack

    have u ever played lotr for xbox or ps2? like that..........., please help i appretiate everyone who responds

    Well, Risk Your Life involves hitting buttons to actually attack, but you really can't put off much combos there. www.ryl.com.my (the bad version of RYL) is in open beta, or you can wait for the NA version (the good one) at www.planetwidegames.com

    Have you tried Neocron or CoH? Neocron is a first-person shooter and behaves very similar to most first person shooters. City of Heroes is a MMOG super hero action game that focuses mostly on combat and does it very well.

    not sure how you'd like it, but freeworld. it's completely skill based, ie. you aim a bow, but it's not a war game. it's a fantasy mmorpg. Also Endless Ages. same category, but better, but it's not a beta. it's in full retail.

    it's...scary. very, very, very, scary...the world we live in...that's why i love the virtual world.

    There isn't many action mmorpg's. I like them also I have been looking and i know what you mean. WoW ( which i am waiting for) may be good for you. Not sure what else though. Alot of mmorpg's combat is pretty basic and really boring.

    Risk Your Life has a really cool skill system. You have charge up moves and stuff like that.

    Really cool fighting system. Not just point and click. Behaves a lot like an FPS actually....
