It looks like you're new here. If you want to get involved, click one of these buttons!
I did a couple of searches for this without luck.
Has anyone that signed up after the announcement received their invite? The email said they would only contact us if we were invited, but no word if you are not.
I would like to know so I could maybe stop checking my email with anticipation daily.
Thanks.

Doh, I forgot about the NDA.
Welp, atleast I know I'm not the only one in this boat.
Good luck fellas.
Actually, yes
Some poor fool posted a copy of his acceptance email into the first stage of the technical Beta on the forums. The post quickly was deleted, and I'm betting the invitation was withdrawn.

I doubt it. The people have Funcom have better things to do than baby sit their beta testers. The nda isn't there so they can police forums and make sure no one posts that they got invted to this or that beta. being a newb in the past i did just that , and my post was quickly deleted... i even got a warning. but its all moderators of this site, i'm sure they don't tattle on you, they just don't want you breaking the forum rules.
die.
die.
They did state that getting into one phase of beta did not guarantee getting into another phase.
I'd count on saying anything on whether or not you got into a closed beta of any type as being against the NDA. All the closed betas I've been in to this point have made it a stipulation in the NDA that you can't say you are in beta or talk about beta except through the developer provided channels.
This is usually so they can just not reinvite someone if that person turns out to be a bum tester only intent on playing the game and not providing any kind of feedback that the developers are so desperately looking for.
us gaming geeks talk about having a NDA like we just got a top-secret clearance for los alomos.
I could lie about getting into beta and it is also a part of being a forum troll. If I lied, I certainly did not sign any NDA. Sue me for lieing? I don't think so.

I take you didn't notice the "untitled - Paint" bar open on the Windows tray.

MMORPG.COM does have strict rules about violating NDA's. If a game is under NDA, and you post about it, even if you are lieing for whatever reason, the post would be removed.

Untiled - Paint is how most people take screen caps of their windows. Alt+Print Screen copies your highlighted window to the clipboard, a lot of people use Paint to paste it into a workable file. He probably just used Ctrl+Print Screen to capture his entire desktop then pasted that into the Untiled - Paint image.

But anyway, I still don't see why people would bother bragging on public forums that they are in a closed beta under an NDA. At least on private servers you can brag to your friends in areas where you could have thaty information kept private, so if you have to brag at least no one could enforce NDA restrictions on you.
And I truly wonder how much bragging the guy did who got banned from beta forever.
