    EVE

Lots of Eye Candy and you need to be patient to play it.  Patience is even more important then intelegence!

Quite honestly, I don't find that any of the current MMO picks out there take any sort of specific cleverness or intelligence to play, I'm plenty proof of that . Mostly they take a certain amount of imagination if you want to dig a little deeper than the basic mechanics, otherwise play an MMO now days is less about challenge and more about goal reaching and socialization.

All that being said, if you like the general idea of WoW but couldn't really handle the crowd (I don't blame yah there), you might want to try EQ2. Generaly the people are a little more mature, although I tend to find the community there a little self important/snooty. All that is easily counteracted by taking an active part in finding good people, a good guild and generaly being nice yourself. There's some really good classes, races are fun for the most part, pretty graphics (be aware that you need a pretty good rig to have it look good) and generaly alot of space to explore. Might be right up your alley.

Other games to put on your trial list would be SoR, MxO, Lineage 2,

VANGUARD is my current great graphics and an awful lot to do with adventuring, crafting, debate, harvesting system's etc rons of quest's as well. I like it however it is new although it is playable the system requirements are somewhat high and it is still a little buggy (of course I played eq1 from beta and it was no worse). I run an Athlon X2 4400+, 2Gigs of ram an ATI X1600XT but could really use a better graphics card for all the eye candy (PS don't try it with anything less not even any of the X1600's besides the XT which uses DR3 the rest use DDR2 or a 7900GT or better), My GF uses a ATHLON 4000+ single processor same graphics 1.5 Gigs ram with the same performance. We need to upgrade video but it's very playable when set to High performance setting.

What is SoR , MxO ? And EQ2... I wouldnt mind playing it but the general idea of buying a ton of expansions isn't what i really want to do.. ( Don't really have the money to use on the expansions)

    Thanks CG .

Roach2489: Regarding EQ2 and it's expansions. The nice thing is, if you buy the retail box of Echoes of Faydwer (just about any best-buy, gamestop and like will have it) it will actually include the original EQ2 and all the subsequent expansions. The only thing it does not include is the adventure packs, wich you can pretty much live without if you ask me.

Just thought you'd like to know.

EDIT: Here's the source on EQ2's site in case you wanted to read it from the horses mouth: http://everquest2.station.sony.com/expansions/echoesoffaydwer/buy/
