After playing both of these games, I've come to the conclusion that these are almost the exact same thing with little difference, am I the only one who thinks this?
RYL and KO both have the option to make your character Human or Beast.
RYL and KO's PvP/Training system works exactly the same.
The two of them have LOTS more in common other that that, you just have to find out yourself 
The only major differences I can spot out are the Graphics and Community of the game.

Give Ryl a try. First of all, in KO both races have the exact same skills, and assassins rule pvp. The RYL races are completely different. Demons use summoning spells and generally have more potent close range skills. Demons also have a VERY different world. While Humans have good medium range skills. RYL also promises a HUGE graphical update with their next patch. Give RYL a try and get a character up to 30. Then get a char in KO to 30, and you will see the difference.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
In KO you train skills by putting points into the tree of your choice. In RYL you unlock skills by reading tomes... COMPLETELY different. Warriors are a great class in RYL. In KO they are worthless. In KO all classes use the same skills. So there is no variety. Everyone looks the same and uses the same character builds. In RYL you can group with 4 warriors and each one of them will be using different skills.
I have played KO and have a lvl 57 mage. I was recently updating an item and got it to a +8 (Almost impossible to do. I was severely lucky). I however got dcd and while the item was in the anvil it vanished. After days of customer support they told me that my account was hacked and the item was taken from me. Its kind of odd since I relogged in under 30 seconds and still stood in the same place.
RYL customer support has been great.. although most of em, well how do I say this No habla good Enlges Lol. All the problems I had with the game have been resolved by their GMs, and the only thing that the game has against it is the language barrier.
Give RYL another chance and you will see I play on the Charon server and am currently lvl 27. If you need some help /s Alexanderus
