I dont see what you guys are all complaining about. Now that the new Orbis Party Quest has opened its not a grind-fest anymore. In fact the only grinding in the game is from lvls 1-21 and 70+. So from lvls 21-70 you can just party quest .
And true the community may be crap but you often find a little group of cool people (guild) that you like and make friends with. Then you can just shut off from the rest of the shit called a community in MapleStory.

sup i'm new here im a noob lol. i like MapleStory.....hey my avatar even shows it! Maplestory sucked below lvl 30....but it became more fun at ludi pq. i had some friends who quit just because they say, "it takes too long to level"...that is a pile of bull... those are the quickest levels that are in the game. most people that say that they hate MS are ranged between lvl 10- 25 and for that, they suck. since im lvl 51, the game has a totally different appearance than when i was at lvl 35 as soon as i turned lvl 51 it all changed. lol. so don't say MS suck just because you are in a bit of a lvling slump. and trust me, at lvl 35 at ludi pq, after like 4-5 pq's you'll be lvling like crazy lol ^_^.

Whats with the big heads? I like the idea of a 2-D sidescroller, MMORPG, gives it an old school feel. But what the hell??? You get like 2 spells as a mage and have to deal with them for weeks and weeks to get one more. The quests suck, and whats with the hackers? sure all games have some problems and freaks hacking, but one out of every 5 people you meet on Maplestory is a hacker. Thats gay, either they have a poor way of coding the game or the owners have no protection to there game at all... or both. Its a free game, but damn... I quit the crap after I saw that gay playhouse land.
well its not really that bad of a game you spam one buttom then spam another button. it cant be compare to runescape because runescape is a pVp game. maplestory is a PvC game.
The people who say maplestory sucks is actually right. it infact takes forever to level at almost any level, its ridiculous. You probably play 24/7 on it so you dont really got much to complain about. Overall maple is borring and lame, there isnt even a community, people dont talk, its all about high leveling. Nobody likes doing quests over and over again and they really need better things. Its almost like a 2d version of ragnarok without the fun gameplay.
MapleStory does get pretty boring after awhile. MapleStory is non-stop training. I like games that contain other things to do besides leveling combat. If MapleStory had other skills to raise besides combat, I would play more often. Although its boring, I still play MapleStory.

Sure, the leveling is tedious and boring, but sometimes I don't want to think and when I don't, I like to mash one button and look at big numbers over dead things. Getting to level 30 is pretty rewarding because you get cool new skillsies (I was an ice/lightning magician), so that was pretty much my goal. I got to level 36 and found no more interest in hitting things and looking at big numbers, just because I didn't want to grind mroe for better skills. The only reason I like this game is because I LOVE the skill system! Leveling up is rewarding because your skill does abuncha more damage and pleases the easily-entertained side of your brain.
So basically: HITTING THINGS WITH FLASHY SKILLS MAKES ME SMILE
Well i have a lvl 72 ranger and it didnt take long to get him to that lvl (about 4-5 months). If you try hard you can get there . However i do admit that MapleStory does kinda suck. You train and train and train non-stop till you finally reach that off-distant heaven (level 70), then when you finally reach it, it sucks. A few new skills, a new title, and a little pride (a LITTLE ). Its not really that great so i dont reccomend getting too addicted to MapleStory. Try something like WoW or GuildWars which have level limits. (but not Runescape, oh god dont even get me started on Runescape). Thnx

Runescape is a game for the ignorant. Maplestory isnt much better.
I like Maplestory but Endless-Online is still my favriot.
