Is it me, or do Alliance players always seem childish??

in World of Warcraft
Just an observation but, Alliance players appear to LOVE harassing Horde players. For instance I was walking by myself to Taren mill (pvp not on) and 4 flagged alliance players followed me for about 3 full minutes all doing there cute little "/chicken" trying to get me to attack them. This is my 2nd character, a level 22 Paladin mind you. All of them were ?? for me. Granted this may seem small in comparison to other issue's but the point is I dont have pvp for a reason. Why do these people feel the need to harass you? Thats just an example as Ive had many other run ins with immature alliance players. Im sure The horde has there fair share but being Horde I guess I dont see it as much. In discussions with other WOW player, Im apparently not the first to notice............

    Since you play on a pve server and cannot be ganked, why do you even bother coming here and posting this? It's not like you need or are looking for a response, is it?

    World of Warcraft have a Teen rating. So Its not the faction Alliance/horde, but the game itself, there is appealling to immature and childish player (Aka the Teen rating).  Being a adault and playing a childish game is of cause a question for itself. But naaj thats it not mature if you ask me.

    Every game will have players who get jollies out of killing lower level players.  That's why some people park their high level characters in the same area as their lowbie leveling up.  If three level 40s come to gank your level 25 you can just log on to your 70 and return the favor. 

    Another solution is to just ignore them.  If they start trying to steal your kills in order to provoke you report them.  It is a bannable offense to deliberately and repeatedly kill another players mobs. 



    You'll see this trend happen less and less once you get to a level where those players are no longer ??.  If you have a chance to kill them they won't bother you as much.  People like that hate fair fights.

    So true, it all depends on where your at and what time. I have played both horde and alliance, both pve and pvp servers and it goes both ways.

    Sit and look at chat in the barrens one day and tell me its only alliance. As for ganking or being asses that goes both ways as well, hell I was trying to fish and had some ass hat horde player constantly following my bobber and jumping up and down while in pvp mode hoping I would try to click the bobber to catch a fish and actually attack them.. very childish.

    Goes with any game you have people that play a game just to piss other people off, for some reason they get off on it. No matter where you go or what you do you will always run into someone that does their best to ruin someone elses gameplay.

    First of all it's not just the Alliance players. Most of my characters are Alliance and I can't even begin to tell you how many times I've came across Horde players that /spit and harass me in everyway possible.

     

    On my Horde characters I've came across Alliance players that do the same thing. I just ignore them and they eventually lose interest and go back to whatever retarded chimpanzees do.

     

    Oh, and way to go on making a sweeping childish generalization while you complain about childish behavior.

    LMFAO horde are the childish panzies everytime im running they follow me and /spit and everything and when i die the /dance and stuff on my body they are losers.....lol lucky now im high enough to PWN them!

    I can only say what others before me have said already: Both sides have their childish moments. But in general (Not only in PvP, but also in PvE aspects like instancing), I find the Horde has a bit more mature playerbase. Offcourse, this is on the server(s) I play on, by my own experience.

    In World of Warcraft, "ignore" is your best friend.

    I dont remember the name of my server, but it was a pvp server, and i played alliance. After a few weeks in game i had developed a greater hate to my allies than my enemies lol.

    Depends on the server, but if I had to guess.. it would be that the Alliance are all generally >12.

    As far as I can see:

    Alliance has more people below 15 so expect more immaturity

    Horde has more teenagers and young adults from 15-25. So expect more competitveness, testosterone etc.

    And alliance has more people aged  25+, so if you are selective about who you adventure with, expect the strongest groups.

    So with alliance you will see more of the extremes in behaviour.

    I used to play alliance, now I play horde...There are a lot of kids on alliance, maybe because the Horde resembles monsters therefore they are scared.

    I am also a horde player, on server Stormrage, are server is over populated with ally, its 4 ally for every horde. But we still dominate the BG's to be honest ally has too be kids or they just plainly suck. And Yes i do think ally are much more childish.

    Horde are just as bad for killing on pvp servers, i remember being corpse camped at lvl 12 or so by a lvl 40 tauren warrior for at least 20mins hence why i decided on a pve server :p. But i have to admit, with me playing on alliance side 75% of the player base are idiots, where as the horde side is typically less but that could be because theres about 5 alliance for every 1 horde.

    And those people who say alliance are all kids, just don't since to be honest the majority are but there are people who arnt.

    Is it not the lure of playing "monsters" that the young choose over playing other characters in WoW?



    Take a survey..I think you'll be surprised how many teens choose Horde over Alliance....

    way to go demonizing children and teenagers trolls your opinions are the type that I hate the most. I agree with the OP on the alliance thing, but it's everywhere on WoW and it's not just five year olds doing this either, before I left I saw and experienced many cases of people who were over 18 behaving like complete idiots and in some cases like complete bullies, now I avoid this game completely mostly because of that reason, it's less noticeable on the horde side because the fact is there aren't as many players there, but it's still there, I think that kind of community is a disgrace to the MMORPG industry personally but it's not like we can do much about it, idiots are everywhere, no matter what age or stereotype people can up with, it all depends on the mindset of the person themselves, I've met people who are thirteen years old and they act like a thirty year old should and then I've met the complete opposite too.

    Quoting people doesn't make you clever, in fact, it makes you all the more stupid for not bothering to read the quotes you post in the first place.

    Yes, alliance is childish, me and a friend were talking about this, and...alliance attracts kiddies. Horde has teamwork, maturity, and has a decent IQ

    again quit with the demonizing of kids and teenagers, It's unfair to label like that, yeah Alliance attracts most of the idiots because of the races they have and such, but there are some on the horde side too.
