Well, Hi!, I was looking for a good MMO for a looooooong time, I've been playing all kinds of FPS's in the past year, because I couldn't find that RIGHT MMO! After two days of playing WoW, I'm arledy kinda' hooked to it, and I really like the game, There is a 10 day trail available so if you're looking for an MMO it's a must to check it out! Well, all I wanted to say is that I'm amazed how good this game is, so far I got up to lvl 11, and made some good friends arledy, and of course I'm in a guild arledy :P Well that's about it!

And WoW is the only Game that has made me feel that way.........
The gold spammer plague isn't infesting just WoW, it seems all the big name mmorpgs so far are having this recent problem. I have recently restarted playing DDO (after a year of absence) and I am getting regularly spammed in my in-game mailbox and chat by these gold spammer bots (I had like 4-5 tells every day). What's worse they are from the same group of people spamming ads from multiple sites like peons4hire and other other gold seller sites. Obviously 95% of these spammers are probably using trial accounts to do their dirty work. What's worse there's no easy way to report these spammers in DDO (at least you can report them easily in wow and there are even player made mods that block out these spams automatically from ever reaching you). There should be some sort of law prohibiting in-game spam with real life consequences (such as stiff fine and jail time) to offenders.
-edit-
double post sorry
Is it somehow unnatural to believe a game is great for a couple days then grow tired of it? Nope, but if you start to feel the weight of boredom or notice the finer things in life, don't stray into ignorance by defending the game as the '04/'05 gamer commoners typically do.
Otherwise, if you happen to continue enjoying WoW addiction... nobody will stop you.
Playing ANY games is a waste of time because these are simply "games" that are meant to entertain you, nothing more nothing less. If you're trying to contemplate some hidden inner meaning to the meaning of life thru mmorpgs then you are sadly mistaken. I have spent more than 2.5 years playing wow and have recently stopped playing. Do I consider these 2.5 years while playing WoW a waste ? Not at all because I got entertained (and got my money's worth) and I got to meet people who became good friends with me.

yea liddokun is right..but if you want to be helpful or sumthin become a mechanic..im half a mechanic ...fix my dads cars all da time..guna go dlearn more mechanic stuff in college, start a garage, buy some cars, modify em, crash/race em for cash...fast and the furious kinda inspired me lmao...but thats what i call real entairtainment doing what you enjoy ...if its wow then yea enjoy it...but i suggest u do something like a mechanic cuz u get cash and its fun o_O
Does get a bit repetitive at times though.
and 60-70 is the worst time ever, you feel so inferior in the outlands. lol
Its about having fun. WOW is very fun for most people before you hit the level cap and from then on, it all depends on how social you are and how much you enjoy dungeons or PvP. Plenty still have lots of fun since theres loads that have been playing since release. The endgame won't feel like much of a difference esspecially if you do all the dungeons on your way there. Too many players solo everything and wonder why they don't know how to play or how it becomes difficult once they hit 70. Group often and expereince everything the game has. Skipping thr dungeons means you're skipping 1/2 the game, most of the best environments and just about every decent quest/story.
MMORPGs or any hobby are a waste of time when you're NOT having fun, so feel sorry for anyone who plays for more than a few minutes after they realize it. Like others have been saying for years, games are about entertainment. It shouldn't be about wasting time until something "good" or "better"comes along. If you're looking for some DEEP meaning and fullfillment, there obviously something missing in your life if you need to find it in a videogame. If you're playing anything for an extended period of time and afterwards say to yourself, "THAT SUCKED"...find another hobby, because you're obviously pretty bored of this one.
Oh yeah...don't feed the trolls who get some sick thril out of hanging out on message boards about games they hate. How sad.
