Anything else? You can get his MSN contact info if you wish i won't be putting that out here cause flamers are generally too lazy to actually search outside their hunting grounds.

Well, the guild was gone long ago. I, like many other folks here, played SWG and quit during the dreaded NGE. But besides that, everything looks correct.

What's his home address...I need a new computer. Really though, grats on winning Dracis.
Playing:I can't say Waiting:Tabula Rasa Played:M59,UO,EQ,AO,SWG,L2,CoX SB,EQ2,WoW,VG:SoH,GW,AC,AC2, DAoC,DDO,DR,EVE,FFXI,PSO,RO, RFO,RoE,MxO,H:EoI,N2,Imagine
hahaha well Dracis sorry didn't think to read the dates on those posts at DnL just saw the recruitment thread and figured it was more current. As for the home address to be honest i really could get it for you, but won't lol It is extremely easy to get information off the net you just need to know where to look. Dracis is that company based out of MI? Just curious i am thinking about switching to the game design program up here at Ferris State and hope the population of companies here exceeds my last checked stats of 6
Oh my lord..... This is rather interesting, my business partner wins a computer, half his life's history is now public... lmao... Well, all I gotta say is: YOU LUCKY S.O.B.!!!! That comp will be fun to play with...
Yes, thats my business partner. Just ignore everything he says

Yes, we're based in Michigan, although in the U.P. I'm a Detroit'er by birth and moved up here long, long ago. I'm not sure on Ferris' program. I do know that Michigan Tech University in Houghton also has some kind of game design program as well, although I'm not sure of all the details.
I personally went to The Game Institute and did the online study thing. It was easier for me. If you're seriously looking for a full time school to learn how to program or do art work, there are lots of good choices out there, like Full Sail and The Art Institute. It all depends on your personal choice and availibility of funds.
Good luck to you though, I wish they had game programing when I was in school.

Hmm, really low odds of winning that many times in one year I would think, let alone 2 months in a row. I would say something is fishy but that would just make me sound bitter and jealous......oops I already do! Congrats though man, enjoy the comp!
p.s. I would recommend checking the software that randomly selects these winners, something doesn't sound right.
Thanks Dracis UP still counts in my book even though ya'll are trying to leave our state and join another haha Yea i've checked into several even had a guy from Full Sail call me which if i could i would go down there, but with my current situation a local school is my only option. The program here at ferris is semi new but from what i've seen has a good course layout and should definatly give me a lead into being a Dev hehe @ the partner - just wait for it to be delievered and gank it muwhaha.
As for the contest picker maybe it has something to do with the word 'King' in his profile? hmmm haha really shouldn't feed the trolls but i couldn't resist.

Wow I didn't no I was being a troll there. I was trying to sound funny and dissapointed at the same time. Thank you for setting me straight though! By the way, what was the name of that bridge you live under!

Well, I will give you this piece of advice. Being a dev isn't easy. You have those days that the code will not come together no matter how long you search for it, just to go back the next day and find out it was a simple spelling error.
I will have to say the best part about being a dev is having your friends play a game you've made and say that they like it. It takes loads of work, but it's definately worth it.
Edited for my horrible habit of somehow stuttering when I type.
Hmm, and my original comment on calling BS looks more and more truer AFTER the drawing. I even got an Admin coming in and saying nothing was fishy. I hold by my previous comment, with a wholehearted big BS.
Well, congratz on another win here Dracis, even seeing as how only 1 entry per 5 days logging in counted.
Again, this used to be a great site, but seems that it moved seaside, because the fish smell is increasing magnifold.
@ the partner - just wait for it to be delievered and gank it muwhaha.
LOL, well I could always do that...*hunts for tracking codes at UPS*
Also, good luck with the schooling, I did a bit of it with the graphics design end and learned something very important: Make sure you know what you sign up for. I did almost 6 mo. of it and found myself learning about Business Management instead of gfx.

I just meant in general could have easily included you as the feeder in my statement instead of the troll. Guess it's all in a persons perception and i believe the bridge is the Mackinac Bridge

Well, I've just read every post here and by reading most of the responces, it looks like alot of you folks really need a new PC. My partner, who is sitting right next to me, and I have been discussing some sort of give away for when we release our first game some time this summer, and thanks to you folks, we've decided on giving away a new PC. No, not the one I just won, but probably something much nicer, like an Alienware or along those lines.
Thanks sincerely for all the congrats, you have my promise it will be put to good use.
Well let me guess, I checked your website and that christmas game isn'nt really that nice, no offense but wasnt it made in game maker? I thought you guys are making like more of a proffesional sort of games, but ohh well u gotta start off on something! Best luck to you, and ive no idea how u've won 3 times, but some people aren't born to be winning

Yes, that game was made in 3 days on Game Maker. It was sent only to our friends and family to play. We were asked to repost it and we agreed. Check our site again probably by the end of this month and we'll have a proper demo up. Oh, and we have released a bit more than this, but that's the only thing listed on the non-community side. Most everything we release will be for our forum members only, like most sites, including this one do.
Edit: I forgot to add if you check the blogs, called the "Dev Diaries", I've actually listed the technology we use for making games in one of the blogs.
well, im not gonna start pointing fingers and making wild claims, but i will put some food for thought on the table. Questions to ponder over and some simple truths that might or might not mean more than what they appear to be.
Starting off, I find it strange that MMORPG.com decides to transfer their systems and "play" around with what runs the contest and the website on the day of the contest itself. Normally, one would do it way before, or after the fact. This brings to question that a big website like this would do something like that at the worst possible moment... illogical perhaps.. strange... who knows. Who in their right mind would not plan this out properly considering the professional nature of this website.
second, one has to realise that when the luck of the draw is played out more often by one individual in a certain period of time, the less likely it is to be because of luck. Does this make sense? Theres a scientific formula that states the chance of occurance more than twice within any short period of time (based off number of entries and drawing held) points to the idea that it is more unlikely to be due to luck and more to do with choice. Basically everying this is done in a ratio... 1000 people enter... 1 person has a 1 out of 1000 chance of winning. Now, lets assume this contest had around 5000 entries, perhaps more, that means if a user logging in every day, and per 5 days got 1 extra entry, then would have a 5 out 5000, or rather 1 out of 1000 chance of winning. For this to happen within, perhaps less, than a year time frame, 3 times, with great odds, is actually unrealistic. The more common a coincidence and the more often the luck, the less of a coincidence/luck it becomes.
finally, I am not saying that mmorpg is doing shadey business, I will leave that up to whoever wants to believe what they want. I just wanted to raise some questions, and my personal feelings on this contest will be kept to myself.
I will however state that I do believe MMORPG should put in some safeguard preventing continuous grand prize winners within a set ammount of time or a means to earn off winner points making them eligable again for grand prizes only. I realize mmorpg would not want to do this though, because they want people to keep coming back even if they are only here for contest after contest, which is questionable in itself.

That's the equivelant of being struck by lightning while holding a winning lottery ticket in a crashing plane.
