How do I get into the training arena ?

in WWII Online: Battleground Europe

Hey ,

       Finally registered for the game and is working now , however , I need some practical training before I die several times as expected in the real battle.

                  So I brought up the training page->selected allies->zomed into the area I want(say brussels)->select the depot -> click Next to proceed to the facility screen JUST to find no crew/equip options there. It is all empty and the missions are never there. This statement shows up in the mission list window : ID HANDLE TARGET P CLASS ORIGIN.

                  I know you get this when you are gettin' into any mission and spawning in a place where you want to but why is the crew/equip list empty all the time ?

                 These are the 2 messages in the message window : 1) SYSTEM: MOTD: Welcome to the Training Server

             2) WARNING-Missions only spawning at Depots.

                According to the 2nd message , I try and spawn only in the depots , but in vain :(.

               Somebody plz help me :)

    The second message means that u can only spawn at depots if there is a mission posted.

    Try an armybase there u can spawn without selecting mission.

    Select any AB (army base) or FB (forward base or fire base) then just click select equipment (or whatever that was in upper left corner). Dont select depots, only AB or FBs (army bases are red circle and depots yellow in towns)

    You dont need mission in training server to get all equipment (in actual server you do). Also in trainig server you can actually spawn every equipment in game (no rank limits and researchable equipment are already there). Damage is reduced also in training server.

    Are you guyz for the allied unit or axis ? Am still to get my feet wet in this wonderful simulation :).

    Glad to see you finally got your name and password problem sorted out! If you need help, don;t hesitate to ask anyone in game or out. You'll find the majority of the community is very helpful when it comes to Training new players.  :)

    I play mainly axis but then again I just came from playing allied as there are currently less allied players in game.

    Neo,

    Welcome and get connected with a squad asap, or you might be disillusioned at first.  Good luck on playing allied, I am Axis player, but we will treat you with civility on this board.  Beware the main WW2OL forums though (a.k.a. the PlaySkool forums) as they tend to be very partisan and full of flame wars.  Once you get online with a squad and learn the basic training most squads require, you will be given access to an HC (High Command) TS (TeamSpeak) server so that you can use real-time audio of very high quality to communicate with your squadmates.  The squad comraderie is IMO the greatest thing about WW2ol.  You keep coming back to fight with your m8s and you keep learning who to most effectively defeat the enemy (whichever side that is... ;) . 

    Also, be advised that you don't get binoculars at first.  Once you make I think it is Lieutenant, you get them and they help you infantry success a LOT.  Don't worry, everybody dies a lot in the beginning.  Get involved in successful ambushes and successful town cap(tures) and your stats will improve. 

    Have fun, and don't give up, this game is awesome after you've made it through the learning curve!

          Wow , this forum is overwhelming and the WWII online community is the greatest and most helpful community I've ever seen in my gaming life. No other communities of any other games around are gonna be so co-operative.

          I've decided to join the razorbacks squad and thanx for all your support again. See ya in the game !!

                     Am interested in joining your squad , so visited the website but the online form apparently mails you my application thru outlook express which I dun use. Is there any other way I can get recruited directly or any other email ID that I can contact about recruitment ?

    Hey there,

                  I got the pm and it was real helpful. Am gonna do all the registering but won't be able to join in 'coz my computer has got a few parasites when my dad was workin' on the internet the other day. So am gonna do all the registering for the squad from a cyber-inn however , I won't be able to play for atleast another day :(.  Am sorry but I'll join the action real soon :D.
