Hey guys
I just watched the RvR Movie and noticed that the world map is really similar to our world map. I don't know Warhammer Fantasy Fiction, so is it just coincidence that the two worlds look simliar?
OH and I can't wait any longer!!

If you look at a majority of fantasy book e.t.c and when there are world maps they some times not always have a resemblance to are own world map
warhammer fantasy is a fantasy take on our own world. Most of the lands can be returned to some real country.
The empire is the holy roman german empire, bretonnia is france, estalia is spain, tilea is italy and so on, heck, some regions don't even have different names, like "araby" or "nippon"

I'm thoroughly impressed. Talk about in detail and awesome for those who don't know too much about the Warhammer world itself.
I like the interactive mini maps for the campaigns and wars being waged between the three factions.
With the Orc vs Dwarf fights and Chaos vs Empire fights being right next door to each other, I'm just curious how they're going to do the elf battles seeing as one is based on an island and the other on the western continent. Then again both of these elf races have substantial seapower as a building block for their civilizations.
