Old DAoC accounts reactivated?

Hi,
I used to play DAoC a looooong time ago (right after release). And yesterday I get an
E-mail that my old account has been reactivated for 15 days.
(Translated) Mail Message:
...So the time has come for all of you to experience the additions and improvements in this game for 15 days.
My Char had been deleted long ago after i quit, but one sentence made me curious:
"Your characters await you, as you've known them. One the same level and with the same skills."
So does that mean, my char is "back"?
I download the game right now to try that.

I read that Mythic has never deleted a Character yet. Inactive or not nor plans to.
Curious now to check all my accounts....

But i remember getting a mail about 6 or 9 months after I quit, that my char had been deleted.
EDIT: To make it short: My char STILL exists, the game STILL sucks.

You probably got an e-mail saying that your character COULD be deleted. Mythic has yet to do a database purge, as far as I know, therefore, your character(s) should be safe.
Aye,
Mythic sends out the e-mail after a cancelled account hits 6 months, but its more of a - hey - last chace buddy - just in case they ever had to implement a policy for deletion.
As far as the game still sucking - I hope it wasn't the graphics you disliked - cause if it was - you'd have to buy the expansions to actually see any of the new cool things.
