I'm happy in Eberron and going to buy the game once my...

I'm happy in Eberron and going to buy the game once my trial transpires.

I did have crashes and freeze ups about every twenty minutes but since I rerolled my Catalyst 7.4 graphics drivers to the 6.12 drivers the game crashes only once every thirty minutes and I'm very happy with that.

And the quests are so fun to do and you can do the same quest over and over again and I have been redoing the same quest for six hours now because its so fun.

And I hope that Turbine will take care of the customers and the game in the same outstanding manner as they did with the highly succesfull state of the art MMORPG Asherons Call 2.

    Asheron's Call 2 is still alive? I thought it closed down? Anyway though besides that have fun in Eberron!

    Sorry to break up the AC2 love-fest....

    Just wanted to throw in my feelings on DDO.  I have been playing now for 3 whole days and I think it is a pretty solid game.  Nothing amazing but quite enjoyable.  It got me hooked enough where I did not play Guild Wars at all yesterday for the first time in forever.  The people I have run into in game have been really awesome, and that impressed me.  People willing to help out "teh noobness" players such as myself was great.  I do that in other games I know well, and it was cool to see others doing the same thing here.  The controls are still a little hard to get used to.  I have never been a wasd fan (being left handed) but I am pretty much forced to use it because I have to keep my other hand on the mouse at all times.  I guess this is nothing that a little key-mapping couldn't help resolve.

    After 3 days I have my rogue fighter up to level 3 and just got access to the marketplace...just baby steps into the new world of Eberron.

    If you are having crashes every 30 minutes that is still pretty unusual. Head on over to http://forums.ddo.com/forumdisplay.php?f=55 for player-to-player DDO support or http://support.turbine.com/ for official Turbine support. Chances are good that you will find a fix for what ails you. If not, post as much info as you can on the Technical Assistance forum in the first link and the community will do our best to help you sort it out.

    Crashes every 30 minutes and you are very happy with that?  Heck man, I've got some Oklahoma Timberland you should be very happy with then.

    Well, glad you like that aspect of the game, because that's all you'll be doing.

    When they charged for that expansion and then closed the game down?  Yeah, quality customer service there, hehe.  If this is serious, then I just can't help but feel sorry for some people.  If, however, its a parody, then well done =).
