With much tought, I think I will make a Warrior/Necromancer. This way I can be a tank and also steal life from my victums.
What will yours be?
Is anyone going to use bots?

You can pick 2 professions without restrictions ? for exemple
warrior/mage or monk/necromancer
which will be the difference between warrior/mage or mage/warrior ?
Gendark Knight of darkness
In E3, because this is still alpha all characters will start at level 15 (for testing purposes) and won't be able to go higher. You will still be able to collect skill points from leveling up experience-wise, but your level won't go past 15. I'm not sure on this matter, but I think in the finished game you will have to get to a certain level before you can assume a secondary profession.
In regards to Gendark's question, yes you can assume any combination at this point, and there is a difference if you pick warrior or elementalist as your primary profession, at this point mainly in appearance- you assume the physical appearance of your primary profession.

I think I'll take the combination Monk/Necromancer...Sounds funny to take life from an enemy and give it to my own with my Necromancer skill and after that, heal an ally with my Monk skill. What I do know for sure is that my primary profession will be the Monk When you'll read my signature you'll understand why

I would like to be a Mesmer/Ranger, but both of their primary skills haven't been implemented yet so i will be a Elementalist/Ranger.

What would be the purpose of a bot?
This isn't a level grind.
Everyone should reach cap fairly quickly and all top weapons should be readily available.
The fun part of the game will be PVP and adventuring new lands.
You're confusing this game with other MMORPG's.
Only a little bit of work should be needed to get the equippment you want instead of 10 hours a day of play for 2 months.

Old School PK'er of UO. Too many murders to count.
Let see. During the E3 testing I tried to partake in many professions. But I have to say that the most profession that i liked was the Monk/Necromancer combo. It could steal the life from enemies,, use that stolen life to heal myself or my teammates.
Yup. Monk/Necro for me.
Can't wait to try it out when the real game comes out. My friends and I already have a guild created with over 10 members. Small now but hey we will grow eventually.
*Sigh*
How many more months shall I have to endure not having GW to play!!!!!!!!!?????????????

Seems redundant on this thread, but my fav was monk/necro:
I would use mend along with drain life on multiple opponents to get something like 3-7 hit point regen a sec (yes they do stack, and drain life stacks on multiple opponents), then I would run around like a fool healing my allies.
Archers and other non-warrior/mesmer professions were not much of a problem for me.
I was in a group with an Elementalist/Monk. The result was insane:
Elementalist has speed up cast-time buff, which made nearly any spell instantaneous.
She used this in conjunction with the full-life revive, which proved to be a devastating combination: We won around 20-30 battles in a row before some mesmer got the better of our reviver and our archer with zeph left us.
Heh correct me if my terminology is incorrect, but while I was playing in E3 they called this insta-revive.
Well.... I am still drooling over the many possibilities.......

This is a sequence of characters intended to produce some profound mental effect, but it has failed.
Ranger/Necro, and/or Ranger/Monk, and/or Monk/Mesmer. Those where the three combinations I had during the E3 demo, though the Ranger/Necro was my favorite by far. Should be even more interesting to see how things work out when there is more content.

To answer your question, the difference is warrior/mage is where warrior is your primary class and mage is your secondary class while mage/warrior is where mage is your primary class and warrior is your secondary class

I played Warrior / Rogue and never felt like changing.
I think PVP will strongly favour ranged and casters though over tanks which might be bad for me.
? there was no rogue in E3 demo yet
i think i will be a Ele/necro so i can do powerfull attacks and attacks wich also heal myself:)
