PVP?

in City of Heroes
WHy doesnt city of heros have PvP, ive heard it is a good game but people want to player vs player. Not just player vs npcs all day....Let me know if they are planning on it...

    They have stated that there will be PvP, and if you look at the official boards for the first expansion, City of Villians, http://boards.cityofheroes.com/postlist.php?Cat=&Board=villains PvP seems to be the topic most discussed.  CoV is not due out until something in 2005 however.  Some have speculated that there will be some sort of limited PvP instituted prior to the expansion during one of the monthly content addition patches, in sort of an arena or duel fashion, but I haven't heard an official statement to that effect.
