    Hmm tibia is about the best 2d ever made besides Ultima, I personally support it even though people tell me to f' off. I mean of course it cant compete with todays games seeing as it was made 10 years ago...

    well anyway back on topic, off the top of my head I have played

    Tibia is a great 2d.  I play it all the time.  I'm on Silvera server, I'm True Aim.  It is by far the best 2d, better than Rune Scape anyway.

    Give it a shot, the free download does not take but a few minutes to load, and you can be a free account forever.

    There are a billion 2D MMO's out there. Problem is they aren't very well managed usually.

    http://www.lom3.com is the newer version, the other one you posted is just the european version of Legend of Mir 2, I dont know anything about it as I never played it

    It's pretty hard to recommand a game when you just said you wanted a 2d or 3d game mmorpg. All games are either 2d or 3d, mostly because creating a 1d game isn't possible, and so far no1 has invented the 4th dimension.

    Maybe you could narrow it down slightly?

    The 3 heroes = Legend of Mir 2. The English version is at legendofmir.net. It's based in Europe but is accessable globally.

    Legend of Mir 3 is self explanetory but for several reasons many people prefer the previous version.

    They have free trials so take a look. Both not bad games if you don't mind the grind.

    Alternatively check Lunia in my sig, going beta 9th May.

    Best 2d on 3d game I have ever played. In fact I have been playing it on and off for the last 8-9 years. Community is still holding strong. Around 500-600 people at peak hours. Which is perfect for the size of the game. Great pvp, player ran justice system, neverending endgame, and much more.
