Uh, yes it is.
But heck, it's your time and you can spend it how you like. But 10-14 hours per day leads me to believe you are in an easy college or you are younger and don't have a job. So it makes perfect sense that you are 50.
But heck, as long as you are enjoying yourself.
But at that rate you will eat up the additional content in a week or less. So you will just have to wait monthly, bi-monthly, whenever turbine updates the game.
The "true" expansion (large amount of new land and "other stuff" probably won't come out for a while (if turbine decides to go that route and have players buy a boxed expansion).

I hope for the OP's sake he's kidding. If he's not he's a major Mcdoogler and needs to get a hobby. I work and workout after work which pushes 9-10 hour days and im taking my sweet time with lotro. Its like those guys in wow that got to lvl 70 couple days after bc was realeased, they think they should get a medal for the leveling "skillz"...
As i said a while back once you get to a high lvl the game dies instantly after about 45 beta was good till about that lvl.....then your stuck in a wow never ending of repeat and repeats....and actually in beta at 40 i got so bored that when i hit 45 i just stopped playing it all together...
I really dont know what game out there really keeps a interest because I quit wow as well over 8 months ago and bc was only a waste a total waste of time everyone paid 40 to 50 bucks for a flying mount is what that ended up as...
Thinking about it i really believe that maybe they need to do away with levels in game and think in terms of making the items give you your ability and strengths because most games just die because of endless grinding just to prove nothing levels are pointless.
Personally i wish all games would get away from levels they all want realisic life to them how many times do we level in this world lol...so gl on lotr because the game will die just like vanguard and you have to remember that its also a turbine game so if you how they support games it will die so have fun while you can..

You sprint to 50 and then wonder why you are suddenly bored? Maybe you might go back and check out the large bit of content you bypassed, but of course that is beyond someone as uber as you.

Sounds like LotRO doesn't yet properlyu cater for some of the hardcore raiders. But is that a problem? Haven't those type of players already got WoW, EQ2 and EQ to raid in?

Seriously - levels are the easy part of many MMOs such as WoW. Getting the endgame items is where the real grind starts.
I know that if they aren't already in,level 50, 24 man raidswill be in-game.
Also, EVERYONE that knew anthing about this game made it VERY clear that this was a "CASUAL" friendly game, and not ahard core (I have no life outside of an MMO) game.
If you must rush to 50, fine, but don't complain when you get there.
You can:
Craft
Work on deeds
Complete all the elite Chapter quests
MP vs. P (PvP)
Start another character
Buy another MMO
Stop playing for awhile and go outside and live your life

I was just about to post the same thing. I think it's extreme to play 10-14 hours a day. Okay, VERY extreme, if he's got the time, why the hell not. Personally, I just DONT have that kind of patience or time but i'm not going to knock someone who does. Although, on your race to 50 I have to believe that you missed some things. Like side quests and such. Some titles maybe? You couldn't have done much, if any, crafting as I can spend an entire day getting resources and I play about 6 hours a day (sometimes I'll skip a day if busy or g/f is having a "what about me" fit). Congratulations on 50 but, i'd make another character as you leveled far faster than anyone else, apparently, and you're now at the end, stuck and bored.
To the other people. Please dont flame jsut because you can. It's not cool to hate on someone just because they got the time to play the game and you don't. Chill brothers. Relax.

Have you unlocked all of the traits and abilities for your champ? There is mpvp in the ettenmoors where you can work on your rank. First expansion is coming in june sometime. Help other people level, start an alt, work on tradeskills, finish up all the quests you skipped

10-14 hours per day, not that bad? If I played that much my girlfriend would butcher me and I'd start gaining weight big time. I love eating, so if I just sat around playing computer all day, I'd be a total fatass.
It will take very long for me to get to lvl 50. I only play 10-20 hours a week and that's enough for me. I want to have fun and not rush to lvl 50 i haven't leveled in two days now, just doing quests. Why the hurry? And why play so much in a day? That's something i really can't understand. What do you with the other 10 to 14 other hours?

I am not leveling fast because I don't want to burn out. I take a few days off to make sure that I am well below average in hitting 50.
I think anyone that hits 50 now is going to be bored waiting for the next content patch in June.

First expansion is June, but for mid-20's to mid-30's, so other than as a place to explore/possibly new traits, no new content for you.
Now that you've maxed a character, start over and play another character slowly - enjoy the ride
