has anyone heard anything on the world of starcraft? last I heard it was in production but I'm tryin to find out more info on it... can't wait till that comes out and I can move on from warcraft >.<

why is it so important that Blizzard makes a WoS ???? first of all imo they ruined warcraft when they brought out warcraft 3 and Diablo is a much better MMO license but WoS would cheapen starcraft to the extent that they have cheapened warcraft ... why must we beg for another WoW clone ??? imo if blizzard does release WoS it willl make a GREAT license into another useless MMO that only WoW fanbois play

I know it's a rumor, but it's a rumor with a lot of strong common sense arguments for it.

All jokes aside; its going to be something SC related but keep in mind; they've been hiring these MMO developers in the last month or so; so its not like they're just going to get together and whip something up so fast it will make heads spins; so having said that common sense would say it would probably be a RTS, personally i wouldn't mind either.

If anyone is acting like a fanboy here it's you. Being precious about Starcraft, a game that was released years ago and very few people outside of Korea currently play. Sounds fanboish to me.
And making Diablo into an MMO would be stupid. Blizzard already has a fantasy MMO. Why compete with it's own game when it can create a game for all those people out there who want something different without all the usual fantasy cliches.

Ruined warcraft with Warcraft 3 and WoW? ok.. your opinion. sure, respect that. I think it opposite. I think the Warcraft series has been brought to complete new heights with those very 2 titles and Wacraft 3 is an heck of a great game.
That aside, what we know for FACT is blizzard will announce a new STARCRAFT title the 19-20th of may in Korea. If this is a RTS, a MMORTS, a MMOFPS, a MMORPG or a mix of all above, who knows.
Surely the MMO of some sort rumor has grown and grown in these days but consider they have already stated that a new MMO will be DIFFERENT from WoW in revolutionaries ways.
So we can just wait and hope.
