Reprocessing Ore to Minerals: A New Miner's Question

petepppppetepppp Member Posts: 57
I was wondering what people usually do after they mine ore. Do you guys just sell it raw, or do you reprocess it? What's the pluses and minuses about both? What do the consumers usually buy more of? And are the minerals you get from reprocessing usually more valuable then the ore itself? Thanks.

All of the above and none of the above.....  First you have to determine if it is worth while to refine it that comes from comparing the raw ore sell price with the mineral sell price. Obviously the higher your refine rate the greater the chance is that it will be worth it to refine the ORE. Though to be honest I haven't sold raw minerals in a while since I use it to build stuff to sell which involves further price calculations to determine if it is finiacially viable.

    Hi,

Sometimes ore is sold better non-refined if it is needed for some specific agent offers or other requests from game. For players, there does not seem to be of any interest out of that reason.

Including : Omber (less), Kernite : more targeted to be sold raw. Just check these, and other to confirm.

Who knows what to become and achieve ??? Red.

Okay first it depends on the refinery in the station you work from and your skills. If you are getting a low yield then always sell it raw, anything below 90% to be is a low yield. Check the markets however and do some math. Many times the market is higher for raw ore.
