List of MMORPGs working with shutterglasses

This is an update of this review: http://www.mmorpg.com/edim_review.cfm (I never tried DAoC, Everquest or Rubies of Eventide).

Works:

Anarchy Online (perfect) image

Star Wars Galaxies (clouds are set to low in a 2D-layer) image

Lineage 2 (mouse pointer and target indicator set in 2D, wich creates problems in combat) image

Asherons Call 2 (water is distorted and some objects in the sky is in 2D) image

Planetside (crosshair and explosions in 2D) image

Does not work:

City of Heroes image

Ryzom image

Risk Your Life image

Neocron (single player demo works though image)

EVE Online image

World War II Online image

I'm hoping EverQuest 2 works with the glasses. If so, it will look incredible.

Stereoviewer, if you ever try EQ2 when it comes out on the glasses let me know how they work. I might pick up a pair.

NVidia - The way it is meant to be played

ATI - The way it really plays

Might look like a retard, but what are shutterglasses, what do they add, and where do I get them?

Shutterglasses gives you stereoscopic vision, that is true 3D depth. They make you feel like you´re actually inside the game, and the experience is nothing less than amazing. To those who never tried a pare, I know it sounds like easter joke, but it´s not. I bought my glasses at:

This seems to be the next big thing in MMOG technology once single server cluster dynamic loading is achieved (EVE-Online, Dark and Light for example). This could be another awesome advance. I just wonder when game elements will be designed to really use its effects. Right now it just seems to enhance realism like higher resolution graphics.

Next thing games need for realism is a face fan to blow hot or cold air with certain smells depending what one's character is doing in the game.

just a warning, only NVidia cards are supported well enough to play.  The ATI drivers use interlaced mode, try reading text where 50% of it is missing.  Mine sit on top of my monitor and never get used, the effect isn't good enough to bother with them.  NVidia uses page flip drivers so you don't loose any detail, they are kinda cool.

Almost true. eDimensional has a stereo driver that works with ATI cards as well. I never tried it though, and I know it´s not updated as often as nVidias stereo driver.

I also reviewed these glasses about a year ago with a few MMORPG's:

    http://www.mmorpg.com/edim_review.cfm

A major thing to note is that they do *not* work with flat screens...they rely on the refresh rate of tube displays to sync with the shutters ;-)

    In case that helps image

    daoc works with shutter

ryl works half with my shutter effects like spells etc stay on the screen but if you just walk around it works

but anyway it is not good for gaming long time my shutter supports only 140hz (70+70) and after 2 hours my eyes become image and it becomes really hard to recognize at least something on the screen ^^

I can imagine you getting eyestrain in RYL. But in AO for instance, U can play for hours and hours without eyestrain even at 100Hz (1024x768 res)
