    I know what its supposed to do, but it just doesn't work for me. There's one that does the same thing with lines or water or something flowing that works a lot better.

    That's cool. ALl you have o do is keep you eyes moving a little. If you stop then the photo doesn't work as well.

    Yeah you have to move your eyes around to see the effect!

    Cool picture. It's a good example of the Gestalt effect our eyes peform unnoticed. What that means is that what you're seeing now is not actually all there. Your eyes can't see all of it, there are pieces missing, but your mind fills in the blanks.
