System Reqs met?

Stupid question, but the minimum Graphics Card needed for City of Heroes is a GeForce 2, well I know nothing about GeForce so I'm wondering if I'll be okay using an ATI Radeon 7000 series?

    After Geforce 2 it says "or ATI Radeon 8500 Series" in the FAQ under System Reqs. Looks like you're going to be cutting yourself a bit short.  I'm not sure if it will work or not sorry.

    Anything below a Radeon 9000 will have some performance issues with modern games (Not just MMORPG's, games in general) I have a 9200 which is the lower end 9000 series and it sometimes has problems playing current games, although most of it is driver issues and not performance related. Damn ATI and your evil drivers!!!

    Well, my system can play SWG when I turn on slow rendering, so do you think it will work?

    City of Heroes is a more graphic-intensive game than Star Wars Galaxies. You will not get the same performance from it than you would when playing Star Wars Galaxies.

    I highly suggest you upgrade to something (not necessarily cutting edge, but a reasonable upgrade), as An ATI Radeon 7000 will not be supported with the current state of graphcis technology. With that card, you are going to be stuck playing older games, which is fine if you enjoy it, but you will never be able to experience new games. My suggestion is if you are a bit low on cash, get like a Radeon 9600 XT or something like that if you can, it should leave you fine for awhile. But I strongly suggest you do upgrade soon.

    And CoH of course doesn't work with a Radeon 7000.

    I am using a Radeon 7500 and the game simply doesnt play with it.

    My screen is exteremely dark and the people are all white.

    So for once the minimum spec actually seems to mean it. i am so used to being able to play games above my capacity that i didnt even read the spec on CoH.

    Looks like an upgrade is called for.
