    They must be looking for ways to get rid of the copies that the stores shipped back to them.

    The current Dev team @ SOE have signed all these copies, which is open to the community and there is no harm in attracting more players using competitions.

    thast a weird move on their part... what can they be up to?

    i am almost certain that if they want to get more people back they whould

    make SWG2 which looks like SWG complete (but without NGE system and the old original system back) with improved graphics and gameplay (meaning fixed bugs)

    or

    2. they want to leach more money before they anounce they closing

    This is a competition. Both Lucasarts and SOE have been very generous in donating these as prizes. And as I have stated before, there's nothing wrong in trying to attract more players to the game, love it or hate it.

    Dont get me wrong. I love Star Wars, I love the movies(Even the kiddie ones) I love the books. I Love Star Wars Galaxies pre NGE. But I do not love but hate SOE. I hate NGE. I hate SWG as it now stands. Why on earth would I want a sig copy of SWG from a current developer? One who probably messed the SWG I so loved up? They litterally would have to pay ME alot of money just to play that game again.



    I would rather play KOTOR or KOTORII than SWG. I hope Sony quits the MMO market. While they have some titles. The last few games under sony have been bad(Really bad). I wont mention games. aS TO swg IT JUST NEEDS TO DIE AND BE FORGOTTEN!



    Let us who enjoyed star wars as a whole have memorable thoughts about that game instead of its sorry state now!

    Why do anyone the disservice of getting them to try the game.

    NO one is playing it anymore.  The servers are empty and that is not going to change. 

    It is a horrible game now, with clueless developers and a clueless owner.  Nothing like having all the worst qualities in one place.

    I think the funny part is the "Signed" part. Why do so many game designers act like they are famous stars? I don't give a damn about your signature, you are a game designer that made a mediocre game.

    Hmmm... a chance to "win" a game signed by the people who ruined it.  Oh the bounty hunting hell I went through getting to master BH.  Then, after that grueling experience, the ability to hunt player jedi.  IF the BH droids werent being buggy that is.  Ya, I'd love to have a copy of the game signed by these awesomely talented coders.  Hail the SOE Visionaries that are SWG Devs!  I bow to thee!



    *eyes wide* Boy oh boy do I hope I win one of these highly sought after items.  I would treasure it and love it and hug it and squeeze it!
