Guild Wars doesn't count because you end up paying near the same amount as any other P2P MMO if you stay up to date. They release an expansion every 6 months which cost between $50-$60. You do the math.
I play WoW as my P2P. When I get bored I hope over to Kingdom of Loathing, an awesome and hilarious browser-based game. So, if you're not a graphics freak, try it out! kingdomofloathing.com works.
no i dont recommend voyage century, if you're lookin for a free 2 play game then just buy guild wars, and if your looking for even better game but p2p then buy WoW
Voyage Century is a bit of a grindfest I'm sorry to say but there is so many different things you can do in that game you can break up the grind by switching between activities. Basically when something starts to wear on you go do something else.
I enjoy Dungeon Runners for what it is, a fun, humorous f2p game. Of course if you want to be able to use the decent items then you will have to pay $5, but thats nothing, I would wipe my ass with $5 dollar bills if my wife wouldnt bitch about it after.

Stop crying. Guild Wars has no monthly free, so it is f2p.

Guild Wars cant be considered f2p because as sven101 stated above you NED to buy atleast one chapter, and altough they are all stand-alone games you'll only enjoy it 100% if u have the 3 chapters.
Oh and.. F2P games are kinda pointless.. and the meaning of free is kinda wierd coz u dont have to pay. but if u dont buy the l33t items at the gameshop you'll end taking twice a time to level and with some very lame equipement.. F2P games are also they favorite choise of gold farmers and hackers to do their job.

Eh, I don't know where I was "crying" in that post. I enjoy Guild Wars alot. I haven't bought Nightfall because Factions wasn't my thing. But I had a great time in the original campaign and love the strategic PvP. And BTW, what do you classify as F2P? Paying for ANY bit of a game makes it NOT F2P, immediately discounting Guild Wars. You're thinking of No Monthly Fee, big difference my friend.
Funny nightfall was released shortly after factions not 6 months, and 4 months is 60 dollars if guild wars released a chapter every 6 months then its cheaper then online subscribtions, and you dont even need every chapter to enjoy the game, personally I get into guild wars im considering selling my accounts.

Im im not trying to be rude or anything bro but wow is 90 dollars for 6 months, so thats alot of extra money, more like a weeks worth of food for one person.

Guild Wars is a very good game and is just as good as World of Wacraft, their just both different. I still hop onto my old character once and awhile to do a mission or too. I have prophecies and faction and have never actually played a factions character past level 5 nor finished the basic missions from the original. Just saying you can enjoy it with just one game (at the same time I do play extremely casually as with all of my games so....) Good luck with finding your game!
Im sick right now, so maybe im thinking wrong but im pretty sure my math is correct. 15x4 is 60 15x6 is 90.
It was my calculator, WoW is actually 89.7$ a month, since it costs 14.95 a month, not much a difference but still my point stands, WoW costs way more than GW.
Well yea I was just estimating, but I totally agree with you, where is a meaningful mmorpg when ya need one. I actually god gametap for 99 cents the first month plan on canceling it though, its just not worth it in my opinion, you have to like alot of the old graphic games to really enjoy it there are some newer games but not alot, plus I cant get into myst online I prefer the single player games like dreamfall and etc more, although I plan on playing the single player myst games first.
You're all right. I never said Guild Wars cost the same as WoW. However, my only main point was that it's not F2P. I still find it enjoyable and to each his own! You can actually get WoW for around $10 a month if you subscribe for a longer time. Though I subscribe monthly so I can cancel on short notice if needed. (I'm thoroughly enjoying my Paladin however)
