Class Distribution

in Lord of the Rings Online

I'm just starting out in LotRo and would like to know what the class/race distribution is at higher levels.  I haven't made my mind up on which class/race to focus on, but don't I want to play one of the classes/races that are over populated.

What classes are under represented?

What races are under represented?

WoW-Tarnya 70 Human Paladin
WoW-Snaekolf 65 Dwarf Hunter
EVE-Lucious Malfouy Caldari
EVE-Cyrak Anguin Amarr

    The server I am on seems to have moslty as follows.....



    RACE:

      1. Human

      2. Elf

      3. Hobbit

      4. Dwarf



    There is a big gap between Elf and Hobbit.  Tons of Humans and Elves.



    CLASS:

      1. Champion

      2. Hunter

      3. Lore-Master, Captain and Guardian

      4. Minstrel, Burglar



    This is just based on personal experience, I have no concrete numbers.  I just know I see an awful lot of Champions/Hunters and very few Burglars/Minstrels.

    Indeed, and I find nothing surprising in the fact most people want to play DPS classes (Champion and Hunter) and less people support roles.



    However I only very rarely see Loremasters and Burglars on my server (Snowbourn-EU), my list would be:



    1. Hunters + Champions

    2. Captains (there was lack of them in beta phase 2 now they are all over the place)

    3. Guardians and Minstrels

    4. Burglars & Loremasters



    Also, only from personal experience so it's not much, but hope it helps.

    I would agree with what has been said above as to the distribution, i made a champion as my first character but i have recently rolled a Minstrel and im loving it, ive played healer classes before but i love this just because i love music and the whole class is based around music!



    I also seem to have gone with the least represented race in picking dwarfs! the only race that really appealed to me !

    im on windfola and it seems like we have :

     

    hunters and champs out the wazoo,

    guardians next

    burgs and capts you see some but not nearly as much as others mentioned

    Minstrels deffinetly seem to be running dead last.

     

    Couldnt tell ya as far as race goes, didnt pay too much attention as to what race was running around, mainly  the class
