Stop Refering to the REFUGE Forum as the "Vet Forum"

Yeah.



It should be called the Refuge Forum NOT the "Vet Refuge."



I understand that to be a 'Refuge' you are, by default,  a vet. (obviously... but some more than others)



And I know a TON of old Vets that play SWG to this day, including some of my friends and myself.



MMORPG.com is just causing division with that label.. making it seem that every Vet of the game is against it still and does not play it.



Well, I'm a Vet and I play. Because I play again that means I'm not a Refuge.



But I guess by the logic around here, because I play SWG I'm not a Vet.

    you are a veteran if you played in Pre-Cu

    your also a vet if you know what the BazNitch era is and if you know how it ended. (hint: its not the NGE nor the Cu that ended the Baznitch era)



    i for one played in beta...



    and acording to my logic

    the "refugee" forum is mainly of people who played in pre cu and are mad about it, therefore the majority of them are in there, thus the forum is " the vet forum"



    if you say you are a vet and you still play SWG and like it.... then you fal under the category of Current players along with every other player there.



    Edit: deleted some rude comment about SWG because im in the current forum

    Unless folks want to debate this issue, I can move it to the Site Suggestion forum. I tend to agree with the OP; perhaps the Refuge can be renamed to 'pre-NGE Refuge'.

    So its basically for anyone who had questions on the NGE, CU or preCU....vet or new player alike.

    I would rather Pre-Cu refugee but realize that not many will be happy with that change (specially the ones in the vet forum)

    they should rename the refuge section to "post SOE hate and flames here only" since that is all they do there anyway, maybe that will keep the vets in their section and stop them flaming the current players section ??

    it is just annoying when you post something in current section and 45 vets chain spam your topic with hate posts :(

    Couldn't you stand in the lairs and not get hit too? Or was that something besides the baznitches?

    And on topic, I am not too worried what they call it as people can pretty much tell when they are vets and like it or not like.

    As I am a vet that likes it so far :)

    Excuse me, this is the Current Game forum, correct?   I don't see it saying anywhere that it is the "Fans Only" forum, or the "positive comments only" forum.

    I have a station Pass account.  I am a player of the CURRENT game.  I am therefore posting in the right place and commenting about the game as it stands now, as a paid up account holder.

    I maintain the account in hopes that someday, somehow, they might manage to turn this Fisher Price extravaganza of bad choices into something viable again.   So far, with each chapter, I have not seen that happen.

    Note that I did not say "Pre CU".  I could have lived with CU, I could live with the NGE if they made death hurt, grouping viable, fixed the GCW, made crafting a part of the end game and did something about the shambles the economy is in.   Bandaiding crap in over a broken NGE core is not Fixing, it is just desperation.
