Well in case you havent heard. Lucas told Fox news that he is working on 2 more Star Wars movies. They will not have anything to do with the Skywalker family. He also said they will probably be only 1 hour each TV movies. So with this does that mean the TV series is out? Or is he talking about the pilots to the TV series?

look contray to popular beliefs GEORGE LUCAS IS NOT I REPEAT IS NOT making anymore starwars movies tv or theatre. after revenge of the sith he made it very clear it was the last unless someone else makes it but he would not have anything to do with the making of another starwars movie.

i feel sorry for people who really think he'll make more starwars movies but he isn't. but hey look on the bright side i believe he said he was making more indiana jones movies.

I think that would be great if he would make more movies.

I love Star Wars.  If it were not for the above poster making it so clear and direct, I probably would naively hope for more movies.

Read it and weep. I will post a  quote for you.

"Lucas told me he has seen all the summer movies since his company, Industrial Light and Magic, does most of the special effects. The only one they didn't work on was "Spider-Man 3." What did he think of it?
"It's silly. It's a silly movie," he said. "There just isn't much there. Once you take it all apart, there's not much story, is there?"
    Well, it's not "Star Wars."
"People thought 'Star Wars' was silly, too," he added, with a wink. "But it wasn't."
Lucas, by the way, says he is readying "Clone Wars," an animated series for TV that's derived from "Star Wars." Many "Star Wars" characters appear in "Clone Wars," but voiced by other actors.
And here's a little news: Lucas tells me he will make two more live-action films based in the "Star Wars" era.
"But they won't have members of the Skywalker family as characters," he said. "They will be other people of that milieu."
The two extra films will also be made for TV and probably be an hour long each. But, like "Clone Wars," Lucas doesn't know where on TV they will land.
Hello, HBO and Showtime. It may be time to pony up."
So there it is in a nutshell. Sorry you lost. Thanks for playing. We have some lovely parting gifts for you. Oh and one last jab. Here is one of the articles on the TV Series Lucas is planning.

You know, you migth want to actually try to stay current and do some research before stating things as fact.
