Choosing a 2nd Class

KMiller82KMiller82 Member Posts: 18
I purchased the Prophecies campaign to get started with my Guild Wars career and I am having difficulty choosing my 2nd class. I'm a warrior and I'd like to be a berserker type so I don't what to be the prototype Warrior/Monk. I was thinking about going Warrior/Elementalist but I'd like to hear some opinions before making it final.

W/N is probably your best bet if you wanna do a berserker type, but W/Mo is pretty much unstoppable in early levels.

I agree and I would recommend against making a W/E due to the energy sucking spells that elementalists have.  And since warriors posess the lowest power pool of all the professions, the W/E combination wouldn't be very good.

Ditto above. My first warrior was a W/E and found that most Ele spells cost a Warrior way too much to use. I got him to level 16 and deleted him because he was absolutely no fun to play. All my Warriors have had Monk secondary since and only because I get unlimited resurrects with the Monk secondary.

W/Mo is a good, solid choice if you're just starting out. You can always change your secondary later in the game, when you get to the Crystal Desert, if you want to experiment with something different.

You don't need secondary.  Just get up there and spam Frenzy.

Just because you can have a secondary don't mean you *must* use it's skills, just play pure warrior and choose a secondary class to unlock the skills for pvp characters or heros if you get Nightfall.

If there isn't an obvious choice for you then just take monk for the res.
