A real Mech MMO

Is there anyone else out there that would like to see a rich, very fast paced combat style mech mmo? I mean we need some new mmos and RF online is far from a real mech mmo with amazing combat and rich detailed world. Im not talking just a gunz or guild wars thing where its all instanced and you just go around fighting but kind of a mix between Star Wars galaxies(being able to walk around in your human form out of the mech and aquire skill) and Armored Core (being able to fly around in your mech in land or space and fight ships and other mechs). I think that would really appeal to alot of people if it were made. What do you think?

    Many less than Spaceship based MMOs, and you can see how many of those there are.

    Yeah I feel you. I think that the only reason we are typing here is that we are the only ones who really like this stuff. Most people who I talk to about these games simply say that its boring or that I'm (mad).

    Well anyway. If anyone finds a good mech MMO, please, mail me. thanks.

    Err, Anarchy Online recently added pilotable mechs for their territory control PvP, but thats probably not quite what you were looking for.

    Doesn't Squaresoft have a Mech MMO only availible in Japan through Playonline?

    There were rumors that the Front Mission series would become an MMO.  I drool for that day.



    Auto Assault is very similar to what you're asking about.  It tanked.  :(



    I used to play at a game store that had Battletech online.  You played against 8-16 people in other stores.  It was frickin' awesome.

    I'd love to see a game like Mech Warriors made into an MMO.  It would definitely need to have a social out of mech aspect as well as a combat in Mech aspect.  I think it would be really cool and could be interesting enough to get a decent size playerbase.

    This would be great, but until that happens I'll enjoy running around in my Mech in Planetside. Well, they call it a BFR (BattleFrame Robotics).

    The only reason there aren't alot of people on here asking for mech games is becasue they are all off playing mechwarrior mercenaries  and what not Im guessing most of them don't know about mmorpg.com. I think a game like this would have plenty of followers.
