I am looking to give EQ2 another shot. I started at launch, but the guild I was in blew up and my best friend and I decided to go to WoW. Of course, wow never fed the hunger I have for the old EQ1 and I really did enjoy eq2 for what I saw back then.
What I'm looking for is a good solid server with a good population. It needs to have quality guilds as well!
Any suggestions?

Been playing on lucan Dlere for 3 years now and their a fine bunch of players and nice guilds to help most new players out there.
I mean you can find bad players everywhere , there no hiding from that in any server or any game for that matter.
Maybe not the hardcore raiding guilds, but most of the "Family Friendly" guilds I doubt would turn you down, even at Level 1.
We have a very friendly guild running on a NON-PvP server, and aim to help the new people as much as we can. Having said that, we have our fair share of high levellers.
It all depends what you are looking for out of the game, and what type of guild you want to be in, hardcore raiding, quest helping, casual playing, role playing ..... the choice is yours.
