Question about Rappelz

So i see every so often on the Rappelz rating board someone asking a certain question. Supposedly this game has a had a reputation for having corrupted files or a virus in its file when ya download it. The guy over there is asking it now, it being the second one I thought I would ask, does it have a virus?
If ya got one that did not have a virus, drop the info here for future Rappelz players, and I will pm that dude and givem some good news, make his day and we all make someone happier.

Be cool to people, and try and stay cool that way you never have to regret making someone feel bad. Don't take what ya got granted because some people never get to feel happy. We get to play these great MMOs and surf a good site. Be thankful for what ya got and next time ya feel down imagine a fat sea otter waddling with a pillow and a night cap. Bam! smiles!

I don't know about virus's my client didn't have one. But the Sframe.Exe doesn't shut itself off after you exit the game it keeps trying to access the net, when you open a browser or whatever. My guess is the client coding is piss poor. The only way i found to shut it down on my machine is to reboot. The client simply sucks.
I'm not to totally sure what the sframe.exe does. Think its for that anti bot program but it acts like something a keylogger might do. And I was fairly susspicious towards it from the start. Tho, I googled it a bit and it didn't bring back any worrying hits a month or so ago.
Could this be what the person is talking about?

Don't waste your time, it is a poorly coded game and really does not have anything you can't get from other free MMO's
Last Chaos is a better game although all the free ones are a bit lacking.
What has seriously hacked me off about Rappelz is the TOTAL lack of any form of documentation. Three races? No problem, start a char in each. Ummm...career choice? WTF does each do? If you choose one and you don't like it, go back to the beginning. What a waste of time.
Anybody like to point me somewhere where I can find out what the characteristics of each are? The high levels are a bit standoffish, and too quick with the "u r noob get lost" attitude! Thanks
I had absolutely no problems with kaspersky antivirus version 6 & 7.
Rappelz is the best free mmorpg today. Graphics are better than Last Chaos; even better than Lineage 2. It has a bigger viewing distance, the most beautiful and swaying trees, some swaying grass, some reflective water.
Last Chaos with its zones can't compete with Rappelz. Rappelz is Lineage 2, but better (still not as complete on the higher level play, but the Epic 4 expansion is coming early next month to improve this):
- same excellent and *most fun* fighting system (best of any mmos, as L2)
- better graphics than L2. Especially the outside areas with more viewing distance, nicer swaying trees, some swaying grass, ...)
- better pet system than L2 (many pets, you get them early) (compared to the poor L2 pet system, in Rappelz people actually use pets ^^)
- more and better mounts system than L2 (although you have to rent them, you can't own them)
- better/more quest play than L2
- better skills system than L2 which is fun with skill enchantment cards
I have left Vanguard and Lotro for Rappelz. This game is just so much more fun (probably due to the better *fun* fighting system) I have been playing rappelz for 3 weeks now.
I still have my Lineage 2 subscription, but I haven't played it again since I started Rappelz.

Then, on the website menu there is a link to the forums. You can find everything and more there (faqs, stickies about classes, etc...). And if you need anything you can just post the question on the rappelz forums. But there is so much information available that I have never needed to post anything. Also, google is your friend; there are several rappelz community sites (many also have their own forums), in several languages.
I played Rappelz a few months ago and I was running it on a regular Windows XP OS. I didn't have any sort of viruses, or any issues at all really.
I'm not sure about on Windows Vista, considering I havn't re-installed it on my computer since I stopped playing it.
