Wheres the "No" option? I don't want to be reading on the history of Dwemer Ruins in front of a merchant waiting for the npc to get out of bed peacefully until someone comes up to me and says "HAI!!!11 u SUK. Iz d4t ur best t00n??? pvp me pls."
Elderscrolls without roleplay is just a bunch of numbers and pretty graphics like anything else. Sensible game players are a dying breed. An ORPG with just a few characters in the world would be pretty cool. By the way can you imagine the system requirements?
I find the games terrible and can't understand why people love it. Of course there are games I love that others find terrible so whatever. To each his own.
Elder Scrolls Oblivion is a bad game (IMO). It has stunning environmental and ragdoll graphics but the game itself is lackluster. You can almost beat it with your PC monitor turned off. And the story doesn't really motivate you much.
"You can almost beat it with your PC monitor turned off." - LOL priceless
Elder games look pretty sweet. But i enjoy the MMO community, there are some nice people out
there. While single player games makes me feel like i'm in a prison.
Once I started online games, I lost all interest in single player games. I've tried several of the bigger ones yet none are interesting to me. I like having other people around it seems....

Elder scrolls is the reason i even got into PC games. I love the franchise. I think if done right it could make a stunning mmo, and would prob be the only MMO worth exploring since the team always goes out of their ways to put in tons of caves/grotos etc in the game for people to find and explore. I also like the idea of creating my own spells by mixing spells that already exist, or enchanting my armor (had an assasin with full agility enchants, that was fun).
well the closest ur gonna get is probably fallout mmo. although its not made by the same oblivion team, the oblivion crew bought the IP and the ppl that are perhaps making a fallmmo has to answer to them now so keep ur eyes out for that!
I haven't played Oblivion, but the whole time I was playing Morrowind, I was wishing that I could play and chat with other people. I could definitely see it MMOized.

I liked Oblivion (mostly the Thief's and Dark Brotherhood's questlines). If the game was easy or not I don't care, I've never been a fan of hard games I prefer it easymode.
And even if I did like Oblivion I don't want any Elderscrolls MMO, not every company need to make mmos. I'm fine as long as they make it a good one person game, don't ruin the titles by doing an mmo.
I would be very happy if Bethesda made a Morrowind MMO. Betheseda is very good at making large, epic sandbox rpgs, and I would hope that any MMO they would make would also be an epic, skill based sandbox game. An MMO version of Morrowind would have to be both skill based and a sandbox if it were to remain true to the spirit of the original rpgs.
And we could certainly use more sandbox games - the only ones I can think of right now are Eve, Rhyzome, and Roma Victor. I personally am sick of the simplistic class based games that dominate the current MMO market.
It would have been better if they had just included like 4 or 5 player cooperative online play to the original game. I like the idea of playing oblivion with others in my party but I dont really want to deal with the entire game being populated by people. I like the game the way it is but it would be cool to have a few others to group with.

That's a pretty sweet poll.

Whats nice about GWs is that you can choose which expansion to get if you're
on a budget.
Single player games is like solitaire, but when you play with other people it increases
the enjoyment factor, usually.
I don't know why they still make single player games. With dungeonsiege i think its 6-8 per game,
& you can search for games...
I've been wanting to try the fallout demo, but post apocalyptic sounds barren.
