2. We do not plan on making any major changes to Vanguard. Any changes are going to come from the team itself. We aren't mandating any big changes to the game. We've learned a thing or two with our experiences with the NGE and don't plan on repeating mistakes from the past and not listening to the players.
If you were listening then how about rolling Pre cu on a test server to see how many people flock to it I mean everyone moaning about how crap it was and not to push it live and you woulda thought you'd learnt your lesson with the CU lol.. Tbh i coulda run SWG better than any of you guys and as a player i'd of known what to do and not what to do cause many of the players had the same vission as Ralph Koster, shame SOE did not.
It was simple:
1. Fix armor and doc buffs
2. add new content
3. Never add Jedi
4. Leave TEF in
5. Do JTLS correctly

Because attacking one overt and 19 more popping up out of the blue was FUN!!
JTLS was the best thing ever put in that game. It's remained (mostly) untouched and unbroken (save for the remastery bug that pops up every now and then) since it's launch.

Um the CU was a complete Revamp of just about everything except they left in the professions..It wasnt the fix we were looking for..The original CURB wouldve fixed it

Um Jedi have a place in SWG but not the lame weak version in now.The original risk/reward system worked to keep population in check.And Jedi had a balance bar called FORCE without it we were useless..

Actually i found it to be awesome never knowing if that lone overt was alone or grouped with 19 of his buddies.It added alot to the system..IMO removal of it to suit the carebear types was a huge mistake.If you didnt want to PVP then you shouldve stayed nuetral..

I sorta disagree here it was merely ok but needed alot more than it had..It was a update to Xwing vs Tie fighter IMO it needed a few tweaks and more geared towards epic battles not just missions.
For those who want or dont want changes, i think this is the key line to follow.

If you follow carefully, all he does is disavow himself from responsibilty for whats coming.Whatever that may be.
Its the team itself that will make or not make,any large ,medium or small changes that may or may not be made.
Hes just getting his "it not my fault this time" defense set early.
