It does have more of a immersive storyline than most other MMO's I've played.
Though bugs and lack of time have prevented me from exploring it for very long.
Sea combat: Stay far away and kill them from afar with cannons (most that I've attempted don't shoot back and I could solo them at level 4 when they were lvl 13 or so).
Anyway DESPITE the game being 'of film' origin the game itself isn't as 'slapped together' as people may think, it's been delayed at least once to improve the game, finally it's out and it's a good bit of fun.
Yea the combat is twiched based also it 'requires' good timing with your mouse clicks to get maximum damage bashing the mouse only leads to mistiming and little damage..
Anywho there is a lot to this game an it shows some promise, the real question is what does this game offer between the 'free' version and the sub verson besides the ads?
I'll try and pop up my views later on once i've fished through all these betas thrown at me
It's like one of those crummy film/televison show games that come out on ps2 which a few people buy since the film came out and play for a few hours, only its an MMO. Its vandalism to the MMO genre IMO. Although I think a pirate MMO could be pulled off, this looks really tird.
it looks pretty fun because i think that the pirate era was interesting but then again i hate the pirates of the carribean movies so idk what i would think of the game if i played it

I dont care about graphics if the game is fun.
POTC is a game Disney is throwing together to try and cash in on the movies' popularity.
Amazing CGI toons: http://www.damapro.com/ & http://www.renderosity.com/
