I signed up late for the beta and I didn't even get into the open beta.
I liked the films and absolutely loved the books (even the hobbit) but I didn't like that they made the dwarf into a comical relief.
I would like to try out the game but I will not pay up front in case I don't like it.
So hurry up Turbine and release those trial versions already.
(p.s. if the game is good then I will be nice to it)
Comments
There are buddy keys out there , go find a friend with the game. But to be honest with you ,Strider and Gandalf need your help now.
Go buy the game.... you will thank me later.

I've played since the start of beta in Sept.
Here is my advice:
1) Read the reviews.
2) Read the players comments, good and bad.
3) Read the lotro wiki's/websites.
4) Beg people for a buddy key if you still think you want to play it.
FREE TRIAL:
Good side: Get more people exposed to the game and allows them to give the game a try.
Bad side: Abused by the online gold site spammers in creating endless disposable bogus accounts to spam people.
