We talking about the game, the movies(s), or the mass advertising?
I would have to say the movie(s) were quite good, the second one I thought could have done better. Quite possibly I might not be a sequal type of guy, but I jsut didn't like the second one compared to the first. But the game wasn't that great either, I played it for the XBOX I think..bleh it was cool and all but again could have been done better. Didn't like the lack of good sound fx and the fact that the animations were so simple..granted the hardware constraints demand that type of shading, I still think it sucked
The world knows you best as a 0 or a 1, combinations of the 2 are possible, are you a 1 or a 0? Or are you a combination of the 2? The world might not know you after all...but keep trying, there are many 1's and 0's out there, find yours.
The first matrix was a very unique concept. Thats why it did so well. Sadly, they took it and did a 180 with reloaded and revolutions. First off, the Neo/trin sex scene has got to be one of the most grotesque sex scenes in a movie I had ever seen. She's an anorexic(sp?) paleskin albino with black dyed hair.
The problem with the last 2 though, is that they took a great concept and over-elaborated on it. So much so, that it stopped making sense. In the first movie it was simple. Humans were in a simulation called the matrix, which they thought of as earth. They were like this because the machines used them for bateries to survive. Then it turned into all this technical stuff. If you dont know computers fairly well, you likely didnt understand the concept behind the movie (luckily im fairly adept with computers). Incase you got lost, heres a breakdown of the 2 movies.
The Matrix--The Matrix was a Computer Simulation with every human plugged into, to keep them in a sort of "stasis" while they provided the machines with power. Because the humans blocked out the sun, which at the time was the machines only source of power. Neo was said to be the "chosen one" to bring an end to this slavery.
Reloaded-- Smith Becomes a Virus. Spreading and replicating himself with everything he comes into contact with. In this case, other computer programs. Agents were kinda like an "anti Virus" but on a much more specific scale. They kept other programs in-line. I would say they were a cross between an anti-virus and a Firewall. Cant be to sure as even i was confused as hell at this point. Neo meets the Architect. The creator of the Matrix. I couldnt determine if he was human or machine. But anyhow, he basically learns, that he is an aonomly within the matrix. An error in the coding that cannot be repaired. Because even if he is killed, the anomoly moves to another. As he learns, he is the sixth one.
Revoltions-- Here is where i got really confused. So dont bash me to hard if I completely go off track here. I heard somewhere that the movies was explained but i don't really feel the need to go look for the answers. In this movie I am torn between 2 conclusions. Here is my 2 theories
1. Somehow, Smith takes over the brain of a real person outside the matrix. Neo is somehow connected to the machines outside of the matrix, and can destroy them on will. He can even see them after being blinded by smith. Neo goes to the main machine city to negotiate a truce between man and machine. At this time, Smith has become more of a problem then Neo and others outside the matrix. Neo goes in and kills smith as well as dying himself. At the end the truce holds. But for how long?
2. The Matrix really isnt just what it appears. It's also the outside world, where Zion lies. From what a gather, the machine world does this, to try and rid the matrix of Neo(the anomoly). This is how neo is able to destroy the machines, because hes actually still in the matrix as well as everyone else. Because the architect said that Zion has fallen Six times as well. Because everything they beleived, is still the Matrix.
If anyone can give me a difinative answer on the last 2 movies, i would really appreciate it.
The only thing i hope is that Matrix Online will be a succes, becouse it's online and if it's a good game then many ppl will buy it. It's much more fun if ur in a city with 100 of other ppl around you fighting or doing other stuff, if ur alone then isn't auctully ONLINE

***It was decided early on that Matrix Online would not contain any soup due to lack of spoons.*** Aw, Lame! Whats the point of an MMORPG without soup, let alone spoons! What am I going to do now?
