General: Gamasutra Wins Webby

The Webby Awards, the leading international honor for websites, has named Gamasutra.com, the CMP Game Group's site for game developers, as the Best Games-Related site of 2007. Other nominees in the category included CNET Networks' GameSpot, AOL's GameDaily, and LucasArts' official websites for the games LEGO Star Wars II and Thrillville. The Maggie Awards, the most prestigious magazine publishing awards in the western United States, has awarded Game Developer magazine the Best Computer/Trade Publication of 2006. Other finalists in the category included Network Computing, Redmond Channel Partner, RTC Magazine, and Technology & Learning.
