Aside from the wonderfully beautiful music, and pretty sweet character graphics....I couldn't compel myself to continue playing due to the horrible point and click movement.

Click, wait a sec, and then they move.  Controls are one of the MOST important aspects of any game.  I know you're controlling 3 characters at the same time, but the response should be alot better.

    Uninstalling.  :(

It is another grindfest game. It looks nice and the music isn't too bad. I would prefer more of the in game music to match the music you hear at the login screen. And like Vhayne said, the controls are very lacking. Even a tab targeting system would have been a huge help. Yes, I know about the Patrol system, but that is the ultimate in botting. And it's built right into the game. That's another aspect I'm not happy with in GE.

I also have uninstalled it. It wasn't really an enjoyable playing experience. Don't take this to mean you shouldn't try it. Just giving my first impressions of what the game played like.

disappointed - bad character click movement, dont like to be always in a team with 2 more bots, cant imagine that with such kind of slow click control pvp is any good. its not even close to lineage 2 like some wrote about, too tiny 3rd person view character play style for me.

perfectworld will blow this game for sure ...

    Nice graphics.

Controls are annoying and unresponsive, game is heavily overcrowded and lags too much.

It's a grind fest, but it's wearing a nice dress.

A good game, its new and refreshing and it doesn't really feel like a grind. Plenty of quests to keep your busy while at the same time it avoids controlling your entire experience with quests.

excellent game, only downpoint is the patrol mode.

    Bad Music

    Terrible Control

    Crappy Game.

    The big AFK game

    Non socialising....

Its too many afk and tomany soloérs....especially in the starting ranges you cannot find a decent spot to level up,nor are many online to respond to your call of looking for squad (=looking to form a party), looks you need to get in a faction (=guild) to enyoj better gamepaly.

When you combine families into squads its easier to level up and do the quests (too many kill 200 munise of x quests).

It looks like a triple grind game..... level up to get better stuff, level up stances is a must to defeat higer level munsies and level up skills within each stance to get some special attacks...

Sadly characters look alike and every 10/20 levels you can change your gear (need too also) and you look a bit diofferent. as i am no powergmer i always come into a new area and see how my charaters are going to look like.... no suprise again..

Good game if you play it in Faction but it cost a lot of time to reach level 100.

Love the 3 characters , love the musketeers, hate the fact you need a scout always to heal ...

Fun is that you also can get NPC to join your family if you fullfill their quests, but are they really better..... no ..some just have more versatile option a normal "Fighter" would have and soem are very specialised like in only daggers but very very quick kill...

no not a game for me......i was very dissapointed.

Have no fear, Xru is here.

bawsack hahaha No, for one, I'm actually having fun playing the game,so it doesn't feel like a grind second, I reached level 20 (out of 100) in just a few hours of playing. it doesn't take longer then a few weeks to have your characters reach level 100, in fact, it takes longer to reach level 60 in WoW then it is  to reach the cap in this game.

Like the majority of people are saying, the game looks great, but that's about it.

The worst parts of the game are:

    1.  You can go into patrol mode and have your party kill everything for you, having no form of interaction with the game.

    2. Hella easy! One shot kills for the most part. I never use my skill bar. Just stand there and watch.

    3. Crowded!  It's like trying to rollerskate in a bathtub!

The good parts of the game are:

    1. Graphics are great.

    2. The 3 Party system is a cool feature.

    3. The European feel to the game is a refreshing environment when most mmo's are either in a fantasy world or in some post-apocalyptic era.

hmm... a huge mixture of comments... now lets see how this works, you have to post the name you most think this game could be linked with, in features etc, just 1 game!

    There you go.

I think Im gonna agree with Gameloading here. While this game does have its grind (what game doesn't?), I think they mask it much, much better than the other typical "asian" grindfests.

I also find the MCC and combat very exciting. Its different from any other game out there and keeps me on the edge of my seat and always paying attention. Of course if you are one of the afk grindmonkeys then I could see how you would think it was boring. But if you are like me and actually play the game in a zone a bit above your level it definitely keeps you on your toes.

Moreover, I find the game setting Baroquial period very refreshing and new instead of all the elves, dwarves, orcs (insert pointy eared race here) typical of 80% of the other mmos currently out now.

So for me too, I am really enjoying this game and think it has alot to offer and plan on playing it a long time to come yet.

I also want to add that unlike most of the other "asian" grinder gaming management companies,  I think IAH games Singapore has done a fantastic job so far with the beta and really seems to be trying hard to break the sterotypical mold and bad reputation other companies have gained in the f2p market. The OB has been relatively smooth and IAH reacted quickly to the minor duping exploit and added more servers to relieve the overcrowding on the original 2 servers.

Imo this game is far superior to any former "asian" grinder to come out yet and sets a new standard for others that follow.

Well, this game looked REALLY interesting to me.

So I took 2 full days and nights to download the client.

    Currently, I am very disappointed.

First off there are no customization options at all, during character creation. All characters of the same class/gender look exactly the same, you can't adjust anything at all.

Seconds major letdown is the point & click ONLY interface. You can't use the keyboard to move, you can't even use it to turn the camera.... HORRIBLE. Even worse, even without lags reaction times are sluggish as hell; you click at some place and have to wait a second before the character starts moving.

Any sort of  "tabbing"-system (to target monsters or NPCs) is missing as well.

Making combat on my system, where I can hardly get more than 5-9 fps on minimum details, almost impossible. Yet have to find out how characters fight and heal automatically; my bots didn't do anything while I got slaughtered.

I am gonna give this game another chance later. I mean, I don't download something for 48 hours to delete it after 48 minutes.

But so far, I am not amused. And those 2 main critic points (all chars look the same + HORRIBLE click & point interface) are too important to me.

To be honest, I can't possibly imagine ever playing this game in the long run. Or even for more than 2 days...

It's simple. It has a nice atmosphere. It has a good trade system. Its a quick arcade style grind game.

I don't know anything about the PvP yet but the colony wars look promising. You have to join a faction (player group) for that.

Bad side is that I haven't found out how to manage my 3 character in the best way, yet. I hope it can offer a real RTS feeling to it. But most of the time it is just feels like playing 1 character.

nother free to play korean based-inspired mmpog who fails to deliver anything but a grinding-afk machine beyond fun , yes you can get to lvl 20 fast but after that it becomes a matter of finding a spot to just afk for hours till no end, got myself to lvl 27 before i said f it and left the game.

Had my share of these so called free asian mmpogs who usually turns into item mall as they got enough people hooked into the game, they open server after server then it goes item mall and servers population dies out , bugs stay in the game due to the whole fubar open beta produces nothing but people afking-not reporting bugs-exploits then game goes into hardcore fan mode, by that i mean only the hardcore and the ones who spent money buying credits in game is stuck around

Visually game is good , but each to ones own , i dont like the game and thats my 2 cents worth
