Are there any games out there where pvp is a factor... not like wow where you die and nothing happens its all about winning so you get honor. or Vanguard where u get a little money when u kill some one figuring they have any.. Only really good game as far as pvp goes that ive played is Asheron's Call if you die you lose a certain number of you highest valued items and you can lose pretty much anything weapons/armor/etc and you get Vitea which reduces everything by a certain percent untill you get enough xp to get rid of it, plus the pvp is exillerating you can feel the adrenilin pumping while ur dodging spells, constantly moving and switching up you spells or concentrating on ur melee so u dont get blasted by a spell, anyways basicly what im getting at is all the pvp now adays is lame softcore stuff you gotta be "flagged" or "enter a certain area" its fun to always be alert while playing knowing any time a person could fly up on you and engage in battle, and the feeling of killing some one after a epic battle and getting one of their good items is awesome, heck i even like the fact that when i fight some one and lose it make me feel bad and want to avenge myself, basicly i havn't played every game out there as far as MMoRPG's go but im tired of PVP in WoW atleast no matter how good people say it is, its pointless and amazingly unexiting, on my 70 rogue i can pretty much do the same thing and its retarded... anyways sry for wasting your time but i just wanted to post this because ive been frustrated with the pvp in all the games ive played other then AC, and Warhammer Online and Age of Conan don't seem that promising mainly because from what ive read about how its gonna be all about stupid instanced, group lame pvp.

One Word!.......Runescape
SB has classes which can track other players that are far out of range, and classes which can become invisible and steal from other players' inventory without them even knowing you're there.

Hehe, i didn't even notice the one sentence thing.Reminds me of this: The Rotters' Club holds the record for the longest sentence in English literature with 13,955 words. The sentence was inspired by Bohumil Hrabal's "Dancing Lessons for the Advanced in Age", a Czech novel that consisted of one great sentence.
Maybe he/she's a fan.
It is quite possible. You do come across those intellectual types on occasion.

Is real pvp player vs player or is it actually inclusive of team pvp?
I play EVE online, but for PvP I play BF: 2142 since EVE went carebear (in my opinion anyway). In most MMOs there's too much BS involved in getting a fight, in EVE you have to haul your backside for 30 mins to 0.0 then wait around for another hour with your friends to fight another ganksquad. By that time it's time for me to go to bed!
Most other MMOs have either the same problem or just a s****y mechanic which means you don't get any PvP. Trust me for good PvP get a shooter, I can login and get straight into combat everytime no need to fart about for 3 hours until I find a fight (if I'm lucky) and I'm talking about a good fight not ganking some 3 day old noob. Guild Wars might be a good option to get some PvP in an MMO though it's not my type of game (fantasy).
Shadowbane and runescape are hardcore PvP from what I've heard and I think Shadowbane is free so it can't hurt to try it out. In general 99.9% of MMOs are grind missions/quests/mobs until you get bored sh1tless and look for the next MMO you hope will "hit the spot". However for people that want to PvP they never will, EVE did at one time but it got popular and they've changed many things in the last year to catter to the majority of gamers. Unfortunatly most gamers don't like being forced to PvP and they changed it accordingly to suit a PVE gamestyle, when that happened I had the same problem as you. I got BF: 2142 and the problem is solved, good luck to you and I hope you find some good PvP somewhere.
"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience"

Good PvP games already out where said PvP matters: Shadowbane, DAOC, EVE
Games coming out soon in a similar position: AOC, Warhammer

TCoS perhaps, but I did say the word SOON
