Soloing?  I never got that far into WoW, but I believe BC is all about lvl 60-70 content, sooooooo basically you're going to raiding in harder dungeons.  In other words, more grouping.

sorry if i seem like a smart ass but i want to know exactly why it ruined your favorite game? because your opinions might appeal to me

Same thing i ran into. Leveled 2 of my toons, and when I got to 70, it is nothing but a rep grind.

You even need to rep grind to get into heroic instances. Since I don't rep grind and never have the 2 years I played, there is little to do.

I closed my account and haven't missed it. Game is just over I guess.

Get it if you are closing in on level 60 and you know that you want to level on to 70, or if you want to start up a shaman on the alliance side or a paladin on the horde side and you know that you will be playing this game for a while (i.e., on to 70). Otherwise, don't bother; that $40 would be better spent elsewhere. Don't make the same mistake I did. I bought BC to make a blood elf paladin, but then I decided to make a tauren druid instead. Well, here I am, level 48 druid, and sick and tired of this game and with a canceled subscription. What a waste of $40.  =(

That's why I waited on my BC purchase choice.  Friends at work wanted me to play again, so I made a priest.  I got to lvl 38 and one day I just stopped because I got so bored.  It happened so quickly too, it was weird.  The previous day I was having a blast, then all of a sudden...done.

Personnaly, I love TBC. The game is finally fun and imaginative. You now get items from quests that you can actually use.  Two more levels for me and I will be able to fly anwhere I want to in Outland without a mount. (I'm obviously a Druid). For me TBC has brought new fun and wonderment to the game.

yeah i think it would be a good idea to get atleast the free trial and give it a try(even though it doesn't let you do half the things you can if you play)  but if  you played the original WoW before then im sure you will know that it would be better if you used an actual account

like i said...go for free trial

Peace is a lie, there is only passion. Through passion,I gain strength, through strength,I gain power, through power,I gain victory, through victory,my chains are broken. The Force shall free me.

I never really liked WoW. When I pked on my friends 60 toon its was ok at best. I dont like battle grounds but raiding towns was fun. I just dont think its that great of a game and I hate that 90% of the newer games are trying to copy it. I really like games were you can grind for mass XP in a short ammount of time. AC for example, you grind, you pk, you grind, you go on a few quests, you grind. All the new games have skill trees and such, AC you can just pump XP into a skill and make it better. Someone on Harvestgain maxed a char to 275 in like 27 hours of play time with the help of an entire clan but still.

WoW does have its perks but the quests are all the same, kill x monster x ammount of times, loot x ammount of items. Then when you get past one area you are like YES im gonna get something new, you spend most of your money on new items and go onto a different area. First quest you get, kill x monster x amount of times, and you think to your self, wait didnt I just do this?

Expansion killed wow. 60 was great. Had a god guild, doing daily raids.

But then the expansion came and destroyed it all, damn thing.

    WOW = Waiting on Warhammer.

Come on people, play some Scions of Fate while we wait. http://fate.netgame.com/

Lol first off, BC was nothing more then a gear reset.  All they really did was add recycled content to an already stagnant game.  The sad part is that blizzard really has no balls, they arn't willing to risk anything since the money is so good.  I can't entirely blame them but I feel as though they could be pumping out a lot more content then they currently are.  Games I've played in the past with no where near the population/income of blizzard have put out very interesting successful patches on a monthly basis.  One example of this would be Asherons Call: DM.  Secondly Scions of Fate is THE BIGGEST grind I've ever experienced.  I got to level 42 and contemplated suicide.  Order Spearman

Lol, you have no idea what a grind fest is do you?

Please go and play MU (not a private server) and get to at least 300. Then you will see what a grind fest is.

No it didn't kill the game, it just made it better, but it cud've been better for that prize, the expansion is all good and fun but it's just all these poor noobs complaining about it beacuse they can't spend $40 on it, there's nothing wrong about it but people expected more from it, but it still added lots of new and cool stuff!

outlands is not fun at all alone.

Please tell me how it made it better!

Few things that it did do are:

    Broke up loads of guilds.

Added more useless grind so we could do what we were already doing at 60.

    Destroyed Priests.

    And some more.

Not true, there is a massive amount of solo content and areas as well.
