G4Box has announced Metin 2, a free to play MMORPG set to be released this summer. The game is said to boast "amazing 3D graphics, unique dynamic fighting system, strong story line, King mode where players can be elected for king."
G4Box Inc. is pleased to announce the release of "Metin 2" a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) that is packed with quests, guild battles and nation wars. And the monthly fee? Zero! That's right players; Metin2 will be FREE TO PLAY. You will soon be able to experience first hand the Metin2 interactive experience.
Metin2 features amazing 3D graphics, unique dynamic fighting system, strong story line, King mode where players can be elected for king giving their nation bonuses on the battle field and much, much more.
"Metin" are unknown meteors that started falling from the sky many years ago, changing the lives, land, wildlife and the people on the planet. Assume the role of a brave hero and band together with other players to find out the secret of "Metin" and use it to rule or defend your Kingdom. But be warned! You are not the only heroes seeking the power of "Metin", enemy Kingdoms seek out this power as well. There are four classes of characters that you can choose from, each class containing two specializations that are unlocked as you raise your game level.

Not my type of game where weapons are like 6 times bigger than the toon. Looks ok for a free game though, but i bet an item shop will appear and ruin it.
I have found this to be fully functioning and can appreciate that it has a staff dedicated to making playable.
They are now allowing applications for their closed Beta Tester at www.Metin-2.com
When i getit downloaded i click the instalation and it installs but then it doesnt acually install anything

unfortunatly this game is full of bugs all over.
there are testing the version in the uk, and its full of bugs like quest items not even existing needed for upgrading.
many things ingame are not working properly and and time we try to report a bug in beta test it is deleted from forum.
the game its self is a fantastic game and the gm's are so good ingame for support, i just cannot understand why they are deleteing all bug posts in forum when the game is in beta and we are supposed to report bugs.
maybe this is because they are selling the game to the americans, which would make sense and tryiong to hide the fact that the game is bugged and they do not want the expense of fixing these bugs.
ah well this is one of the experienced player views. i hope i am wrong and gameforge are not trying to pull a fast one like they have done in many games before and are trying to sell a game that is bugged as perfect working order.....
i hope that this forum do not delete this post as it is a comment directly from a player who feels very pasionatly.
infact if an american rep from the us version sees this i sugest he pass's it onto his boss as i am sure the german people running the game wont pass on this sort of info...
i hope metin 2 gets the bug fix it really needs .

COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME
i was a gm in the game, part of one of the best ever support teams i have ever seen for ingame support.
then lady mosha( chief game admin) who is immediatly under mr carson of game forge lost her head and decided to go though the meting2-uk support team and sack every decent game moderator there was in the uk team.after which she banned all there charactors and blocked any forum posts relating to this.
the also posted something in there forum which made me laugh. that they had placed an update to fix all bugs in game.
well whatever they did it didnt work , the game is still as bug ridden as ever, and most of the players in it have now left due to the total loss of any creditable ingame support.
well done game forge your staff have just showed how not to run a company.
there basic impression on how to run a complany
a) sack all people that know if a game is running right or not
b) ban them so they cant tell anyone
c) ban anyplayer that recons there is a bug in game
d) ban all comunity then no one can let in that the game has bugs so you can sell to usa as bug free.
