I have heard from all my buds who have played this game that its just a wow clone and sucks etc. Could anyone tell me if this is true and also i would like to know about the pvp in this game if this game even has pvp. thanks.
Honestly, one needs to try these things for themselves to be sure.
Is it at WoW clone? If you consider a highly polished game, tons of content, highly accessible, and stable game play to be a Wow clone, then yeah, it's a Wow clone. Other than that, they are quite different games. The UI is in fact a copy of Turbine's AC2 UI (which WoW ripped off, not the other way around).
There is PvP in the form of Monster Play. If you're looking to be able to gank in FFA environment, then no this game is not for you.

Games I'm watching: Infinity: The Quest for Earth, Force of Arms.
It has pvp which btw imho is so fun that I gave up rising my hero avatar. I just play as monster. PVP is different compared with wow. You do have similar classes but mechanic is somehow different.
