Star Wars Galaxies: Anniversary Bash Moved to May 23rd

In-game events celebrating the 30th anniversary of A New Hope, and the 4th anniversary of Star Wars Galaxies originally scheduled for May 21st have been pushed back to May 23rd.
The Star Wars Anniversary Bash kicks off on Wednesday, May 23, 2007 (moved from May 21). Beginning on Wednesday, you can join the biggest party in the galaxy at Nym's Stronghold and claim a special anniversary painting!
Dance the night away to the melodies of Figrin D'an and the Modal Nodes band, socialize with friends, and browse the complimentary wares of Nym's Anniversary Quartermaster to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Star Wars: A New Hope and the 4th anniversary of Star Wars Galaxies.

There is nothing worth celebrating there anymore since they ruined the game. If they make it the way it used to be, and take away all those damn unearned Sith and Jedi characters, fix everything they changed,.then they will have something to celebrate.
Until then this incredibly boring game will stay just that, incredibly boring.
The way the game is now is the perfect example of what happens when whiny fan boys get there way
There are still some of us who enjoy the game, dispite all the changes, and whiners.
Making sure there are no bugs I would assume.
Wish Darkfall would release.

On a lighter note, I might try this game seeing as this is a possible sign.
I think poor Raven99 meant the term Fanboy and not Fan Boy.
As wikipedia states:
Fan Boy (Arnie Lundberg) is a comic book character in the X-Statixc series. He is a mutant with superhuman powers in the Marvel Comics Universe.
Fanboy is is a term used to describe an individual who is utterly devoted to a single fannish subject... etc.
I played for 3.5 years before finally leaving. When I did leave, Eclipse was pretty empty of players. I played through the CU and NGE and you just adapted to a different style of play. I think there is plenty to celebrate. But who am I and what do I know. I do know one thing, I get tired of seeing people complain and wanting the old style back. Well... I don't think it will happen, and life is too short to whine about a change in a game.
Who knows, maybe the celebration will bring in new players. Lets just hope! Now, let the flaming from all the old style SWG players that can't move on begin!

Hm, probably because Chapter 6 is just coming out today (the 22nd) and not last week as was the intention.
