18 year old male with 15 year old female. Is that weird?

Is an 18 year old guy looking at a 15 year old girl and thinking they're hot a little strange? I'm just asking.
The reason is because I was watching The Daily Show on Comedy Central and Stewart played a clip of Mitt Romney saying he thought his wife was hot at 15. That would have made him 18 years old at the time.
I don't know if I think that's weird or not. I do know that I have a sister who's about 3 years younger than me and she used to have girls spend the night at our house when we were little. I don't recollect ever thinking that as a senior in high school 15 year old girls were babes. Maybe my memory is just bad lately, but I just don't recall that. Personally, I was looking at college girls at the time.

well, dont do anything stupid because Ive seen several 18 year olds going to jail for their 15 year old girlfriend. When I was a cop in Florida, I had to arrest so many of them I coudln't even count and they get convicted with a perma sex offender tied to their record...just because he pissed off the girl's parents.
At 18, you may want to graduate up to the college ladies.

I don't think it's that weird...just don't do anything that you're going to get into trouble for. My parents are FOURTEEN years apart..granted they met when my mom was already in her 20's...but if you think about it...my mom was four when my dad graduated from high school. It's especially not weird that he's talking about his wife though...it's good that he finds her attractive still. (assuming that in context he was saying that he still finds her attractive even though she's not 15 anymore)
by the way, when I was 19 I was attracted to a 17 year old...that's only one year less difference and still has the same legal implications...so yeah...who am I to judge?

Actually it's not that weird, but if you're 18 I guess you do have to worry about the legal stuff. It's definately not as weird as what I saw when I was in middle school. I hope these girls were lying to make themselves seem "cool" (not sure how that made them cool), but they would say that they were dating college age guys and they were 12-13 and sometimes even 11....................ewww......

If that were 100% true then you wouldn't have teachers sleeping with male students. Some women just like to feel like they are in complete control over a relationship, dating someone much younger does that for them.

You can date that way if the parents are okay with it. Be aware that at any point, if they get pissed, you can go to jail. It happens all the time, and you get that glorious sex offender sticker on your name which destroys your life for years to come.
The problem here is that you do alot of growing up from 15-21. A fourty year old dating a thirty year old is really no big deal, but even a difference of a few years around that age can be huge. This is not even taking into account the legal situation.
I don't think it's a good idea at all for an 18 year old to date a 15 year old. You might think this is a hard line to take, but it comes from seeing people screw up their lives or get into stupid situations. The difference between a person from year to year can be incredible, and it should be, because this is crazy hormone body/mental change time.
My friend keeps her daughter practically with a chastity belt on, and it's a good plan. If I had a 15 year old daughter and found out she was dating an 18 year old, I'd say hell no to that. Generally say hell no to any kind of 'serious' dating until she was at least 18, preferably 21.
Now if her parents have the same mentality, that's trouble for mr. 18 year old.

Don't feel bad at all dude. My girl is 14 and I am 17. As long as your not just out to get some you should be fine. The first time I saw my girl I thought she was at least 16, she was realy hot (at least I thought so). Alas, I am going out with her and things are fine. Just remember if you do get into a relationship with her...keep in mind the maturity difference and most of all don't push anything on her. I warn you though, she may not be able to please you physically or mentally like you would wish. Then again, she may. My girl is definitly not what I expected, but I am still content. As long as you can be content with what you get you should be fine man.
You look at kids who are in the 6th grade and they are a lot different than kids who are in the 9th grade. And 12th graders are a lot different than 9th graders. People are going through drastic changes during those periods.

Just because the sex changes, it doesn't mean that some women don't want to be in the drivers seat. Especially since the male/female roles in today's society aren't as strict as they used to be.
