How do I know?
I look at my friends list that I've compiled since day 1 and it's dead. I look at the posts on the O forums and those same folks aren't there anymore. I'm not a statistical analyzer or what have you, but I'm gonna guess it's a damn good indicator that the Vets just don't like or play this game anymore. Proof's in the pudding bud. There's the door.
I still keep in touch with my guild on the forums, the swg section is all but dead, there's occasionally a thread where one or two people take the trial or resub for a month and then they regret it, although one of the senators Unagi is still there but I don't think he plays too much these days himself.

Well, the thing is, some of us find it amusing that the vets who keep dissing on the NGE are basing their whines on how the NGE was after it launched. I also hated the NGE the day it launched and I quit. The fact of the matter is that the NGE today, is pretty solid. The expertise system is solid. The professions are balanced. Pre-CU niceties like buffs, character customization, SEA's and CA's, are all back. And with Publish 6's launch yesterday, beast master and the difficulty level of PvE combat just got interesting.
I actually find it amusing that if any of these NGE-hater vets ever tried to return, they would get seriously OWNED in PvP AND PvE. ROFL. That is really the reason NGE-haters don't want to return. It's sad.

guess what..I'm a Vet and I HAVE played since NGE launch. I resub now and then to see if its better or not and how many people are around.

guess what..Vets complain because NGE is NOT the game we bought and spent years enjoying. It was brutally shoved down our throats.
guess what..If SOE took your precious NGE and turned it into My Pretty Pony Adventures you'd be pissed too. EXECPT, pre-cu vets have alot more to complain about since most of use had multiple accounts which means we spent more money which mean we have the right to bitch.
guess what..Hate to burst your bubble but I am a pre-cu Jedi and that means I have skill with my class cause I EARNED it, which translates into I know how to play it very well since I've been doing it for YEARS. Now, to bursting your bubble, I have yet to get "owned" in PVP by any snot nosed NGE brat. Dont make generalizations. Ive been hunted, I've been jumped while I was overt, oh..sorry.."Special Forces", and I still have never been "owned". PVP in pre-cu was much harder and more tactic was needed cause there was no "balance" which was one of the problems back then, but also, made pvp more interesting and meant you had to know what you were doing to stand more then a snowballs chance.

while i agree that this forum are mainly for the pre cu crowd to vent their anger.It even says for disgruntled players but you must admit that itsa kind of easy to wind you guys up.
Take shayde(sorry dude but you are a perfect example) just click his last 100 posts and you see an obsessive pattern to his posts which are all like a broken record of "soe this soe that" .
So really how hard is it to fire up tempers ?You guys are just making it possible is all.
I still can't understand how y'all can consider making snide comments towards $OE work. It's actually more a reflex action at this point.

Call it a public service. Call it revenge. Call it therapy. Whatever.
That, and no other game has measured up to the game they took away from us... so how can you really move on? There's nothing to move on to.

Well at least your honest and hey if you really feel that bad about it I cant really blame you I suppose. I do find it very sad though.
if nge fans admit the game isn't ready or that its not great but the devs are working on it... why not stop your subscription... and come back when its ready... and to the people waiting for the house purge... they could say september and you would probably keep your subscription telling all pre-nge fans that's why your still paying.
