I heard that startcraft will be makin an mmo. Is this true?

    I thought i heard something somwhere about that too i cant confirm nothing but i think it will happen at the same time wow comes out for the consoles "if it does" i think a starcraft mmo would be great if done right and blizzards the company to do it

    No one has heard anything.  So far it is all rumor. 



    Their next game could be Starcraft MMO



    Their next game could be Starcraft 2



    Their next game could be Diablo 3



    Their next game could be Diablo MMO



    Their next game could be Something totally new.  No one knows.  Just hang around until the 19th and then we will ALL know.  But if you were to ask me, I think they will make Starcraft 2.  People have been wanting this game from quite sometime now.  The new MMo project they are working on?  Probably a new graphic engine for World of Warcraft.  Remember, you heard it from ME!

    Starcraft 2 is coming out and no this isn't a mmo; BUT, there is a game in alpha called saga with the lead starcraft: broodwar programer on staff. Possibly this is what you heard? I played saga and it is a mmorts.

    well yes it is officially announced to an RTS based game.. I can't wait and ill will probably by a new pc lol ...look at my sytem specs under my name

     on a serious note.. You never assume because one game type is doing well that the same company will make another one. Especially Blizzard. that can't even be categorized under "logic" to the experienced developer.



    I wouldn't rule out that Starcraft may one day become a MMO or similar game type. i can see it involving space travel and planetary exploring..  but would it fit with a storyline.. who knows.

    no, it isn't. it's a little confusing, but basically mmo means ALL the masses of players in the same game(instances not counted). and diablo could only have 8 people in one game at one time.

    I believe it's Starcraft 2 they going to released dunno yet how they going to implement it as a MMO game

    It is true however that Blizzard has got new staff who will work on a "next gen MMO" for blizzard, but the word is it'll be an entirely new franchise built from the ground up.

     

    As for starcraft 2, that'll be with us soon enough... even if i doubt Blizzard will bring anything new to the RTS market, they've been away so long.... they might have lost their touch...

    One of the problem of Blizzard is C&C3 releasing Starcraft 2 side by side with C&C3 ...... I'm sure it's a great battle not with guns and tanks or laser beams but in advertising and marketing of each game!

    I don't know how to even respond to such stupidity. Someone help me plz.

    C&C3 was ALREADY released in MARCH. Starcraft 2 won't be released for ATLEAST another year or 2.

    You need serious medication if you think Starcraft 2 has been released.

    i really doubt for a starcraft MMO....But i really looking forward for SC 2 which is about in 2008
